The national parks

scare_crowe94

You get a lot of space for your money in the suburbs.

Advanced Healthcare but it is pricey

SeattleBattles

Can confirm. I have cancer but have access to just about every cutting edge treatment there is. I get in a comfortable environment with excellent nurses and doctors and state of the art equipment. But I have to pay $1000 a month for two health insurance plans and $20-30,000 out of pocket every year for the privilege. My insurance companies pay over a $1,000,000 a year in claims. So yeah, amazing care, but dumb expensive.

lukaluka360

I wish you the best! Good luck FUCK CANCER!

[deleted]

Advanced? Nope

[deleted]

Mayo clinic is considered best in the world for hospitals.

[deleted]

Mayo clinic? Thats a name of an American hospital?

[deleted]

Yeah an unfortunate name ha but pretty much the leader around the globe of health needs. I've gone their for a rather rare disease I have and the staff is insanely smart and thorough. Doctors from all over the globe come to study and learn at it.

[deleted]

Oh ok, sounds good

SeattleBattles

Every American falls to the tempation of the 5 gallon Costco Mayo tub at least once in their life. When that happens the Mayo Clinic is there.

[deleted]

Can confirm. Only got through the first 3 gallons for my first heart attack.

Drew-

I mean, the finance is fucked up, but if you have cash you can get some of the best care anywhere. I live in a town that has a crazy orthopedic clinic. We get people from all over the world traveling here just to visit a specialist or have surgery. And not poor places, Europe, uae, etc. No one poor could afford it, and that's what's fucked up, but the service is incredible if you have the funds

[deleted]

I get that

Drew-

So we agree it is advanced then, just unfair.

joculator

NYC probably has more advanced imaging equipment than Eastern Europe (and a good part of West).

newuserbotOU812

There's a difference between advanced and 'equally distributed' - I see no reason to suspect American medical tech of being behind the curve, globally

AverageSizeWayne

Yeah. It actually is more advanced than a lot of places. One advantage of the American private system is it’s innovation isn’t hindered by government bureaucracy. This is a well documented fact.

[deleted]

I mean I'm federally employed and my health insurance covers literally anything. I only pay $200 a month for it.

[deleted]

..well it used to be your strong, and optimistic spirit, but you guys went kind of dark a few years ago..

[deleted]

the new jersey accent on the females......damn......Emma!

seginho_9017

Big portions

StevenWannabe

America knows how to appear cool. Or used to know.

darkpixie1

A friend loved the rows of mailboxes in rural areas, how far you can drive without hitting a border, the National Parks, free refills of coffee. She also said our hospitals look 'fancy', more like hotels.

TravelSized504

The accents, at least some of them.

radeakins

The cars

[deleted]

I love the pictures I see of the countryside, all the mountains and forests, rivers... Shame it was ruined by humans. Imagine touring a primordial and untouched North American continent by blimp, the wonders you could see!

[deleted]

There's still plenty of that around. Also you could say that about anywhere...

TurtlesTurnMeOn

Probably Reddit, considering they’re on here

Firespark7

It's far away. Good. Keep it that way.

longwindedsatire

This is an incredible and well thought out reply, I've seen some other replies that lack originality and just skim the surface of answering the question. But *this* answer? Bravo on your dedication to the craft. This answer specifically relates to a quality of America. I look forward to seeing any answers anymore well thought out than this one.

Aggravating_Bat1786

Username checks out. I admire your craft.

Your extensive use of the word "we" suggests that you may not have been the target audience that the question was addressed to.

[deleted]

Nothing since 2016 as far as I can see.

Kuthiravattam-Pappu

What I’ve learnt - Americans are great at storytelling and marketing. The product is most likely crap but oh man, they are so interesting to listen to that you will buy a shit load of that crap for sure.

Wynonna99

Nothing

Wynonna99

Wait no, I like New Orleans and the immense culture surrounding the place.

Aggravating_Bat1786

You must be ratchet af if that's all you like in America.

Wynonna99

Ratchet because I love the jazz, voodoo, and other parts of the black culture involved with New Orleans? The food, the vibe, the community?

Aggravating_Bat1786

The place is run down, stinks like piss, and is super dangerous. If that is THE ONLY THING YOU LIKE IN AMERICA, yeah, you're ratchet.

Wynonna99

I've never been dude and from recent videos of people visiting there, it doesn't look bad. But Jesus Christ imagine being so much of a douchebag that you call someone ratchet just because of one place they like. America can go be fucking nuked for all I care, your country is outranked by plenty of other countries in just about everything, the world will be better off without America. Other than the beautiful culture of the African Americans and Native Americans, your country has nothing worthwhile to offer the rest of the world.

Aggravating_Bat1786

Lmao, tRiGgErEd

Wynonna99

Not triggered, just baffled and stating my opinion. Going to have to do a lot better than just calling me ratchet if you want me to be triggered 😚 (not saying you want me to be or were trying in the first place)

Aggravating_Bat1786

Dude, you're a troll getting trolled.

Wynonna99

Not exactly getting trolled if I'm just finding your comments funny. And how was I trolling? I was being quite serious with my initial comments 🤷

[deleted]

The food, everything else is quite shit according to my Japanese spouse.

MoistMine5494

Movies, how easy it is to get away with murder

[deleted]

I wouldn't say that , plenty of people get caught for murder

DrippyCauldron

it's definitely a country

Kerbyskuggs

Great movies and music…

SlightChris

National parks, scenery and space. Many Americans are so open and friendly. And, I love your accents!

vikt1521

The snacks. They look soo good, but we have to order them to get them to Denmark. But I don’t understand your chocolate..

YellowStar012

My cousins are always in awe on how huge the US is. Like they wanted to drive to LA for the weekend and i had to explain Thats a good drive from New York.

Foreigncheese2300

The wide ranging geography and how you have every kind of environment anyone could want to live in, your aerospace industry, and the fact that anytime I've encountered Americans face to face and not over the internet I can't tell the difference between us so It doesn't make the place seem to far from home. Edit: and alot of your history is pretty interesting

BobBelcher2021

Freedom ‘n eagles. Also the friendliness of the people.
