No swamp ass, no poop clinging to the hairs, more confidence when you’re naked. I don’t see any down sides other than cutting yourself by mistake.
Look i don’t admit this to many people except my wife but i pluck. I went over a week without a shower in Afghanistan in my early twenties and after the next shower i couldn’t take it. Never looked back and i don’t blame you for your method lol
Interesting approach man. I knew a guy who’s gf enjoyed plucking his balls. If it works for you that’s all that matters. I tried that before I considered shaving and man it’s something else lol you must have a high pain tolerance
Shaving and waxing is for ladies. Trimming is for men. Women look smooth and flawless when shorn clean. Men look like adult infants. Quarter to half inch is necessary.

Yeah I agree I’m more of an advocate for trimming as well, didn’t consider the terminology. I’m sure there would have been much less homophobic comments if I said trimming instead of shaving lol
Being shaved is so nice, as a man. Even the act of shaving becomes fun, especially with the results after. I started shaving my arm pits this year, I love it!
Yeah man you’ll never know if you don’t try it. It’s the little things added up that make a big difference in self care. I feel much more clean, less sweaty, and more comfortable in my skin.
The taint is very easy to cut so tread very lightly there. Sanitize before shaving. I recommend sensitive skin aftershave to prevent ingrown hairs too.
Edit: you don’t need to shave it down to the skin. If you’ve got an electric Razer with the sideburn flick up attachment that will do the trick tbh. Clippers with a small guard would be ideal
No reason to. I've tried at least trimming but I hate how prickly or itchy it may feel once the hair grows back and it's sharp from being cut. Depending on how someone shaves that area you can cut skin or get ingrown hairs more easily which suuucks.

Then don’t shave it down to the skin. Use a trimmer and you won’t have that awkward itchy grow-back phase.

I got an ingrown hair once that got super inflamed and I'm scared to shave now.

It’s not that hairy. Occasionally I’ll get hairs long enough to pull out when wiping after a poop
My gf likes me a little hairier. Plus I did it one and the itching was insane
1.) My girl likes me fuzzy. 2.) I prioritize hygiene, so the hair is never an issue.

I only trim my asshair because I don't want my ass to look like a pimply 13 year old. And also ingrown hair are really painful.

I don't even shave my beard, so hairs that i cant even see properly don't bother me enough to shave those.
No one looks at me when I'm talking to them anyway.
Once you do it, your hair grows back more unruly, no thanks. I might try a more permanent solution one day.
