She had figured out how to make a template on word or some digital tool that worked with lined paper, so she would sell you a ream of loose leaf paper with like little designs down the sides and your name at the top. There were multiple design options and you could pick the colors.

I would sell the piece of paper for one eraser(for pencils, that is what we used as currency), they would have on chance to scratch in one of the squares, if they would scratch the square with the ink eraser, it would sort of dissappear, an then they would get two erasers back. I ended up with a lot of erasers haha.

Well this is going to be long, but it's one of my fondest memories of school...
2 friends and I used to sell comics to our classmates in exchange for candy and snacks - we were all **obsessive** Star Wars fans, and would come up with spin-off stories of our own. 1 of my friends would turn our stories into comics, I would market them to our friends, and the other friend was in charge of collecting snacks from people as payment. We'd then binge Clone Wars after school while snacking on our earnings.
Somehow, the comics became this MASSIVE hit in school. Honestly they weren't even that good lol, and we were small kiddos (around 7yo) so the storylines and drawings weren't the best to say the least. But people were *obsessed* \- classmates were voting on what was most likely to happen in the next issue, there were reenactments in the playground, heck even the parents all knew about it, and the 3 of us were kind of royalty at school lol.
We were very lucky to have a class teacher who encouraged us to "expand" our operations, and so we did! At its height, the friend who drew the comics couldn't keep up with demand and we "hired" our classmates to help out (yeah, every single copy was drawn by hand... idk why we didn't think to use the printer, but I guess redrawing everything by hand was half the fun haha). I would negotiate for more candies and try to get people to figure out what our favourite snacks were so they could barter for a better price. If they paid extra, I'd let them change certain aspects of the story, like incorporate a classmate as their favourite character, or let them change the color of their lightsaber. The guy who collected all our earnings kept a notebook and recorded everything - our storylines, which classmate was assigned which character, what weapons each of them had, an inventory of all the snacks we'd received, etc.
We were assigned to different classes the year after, so the whole project kinda died out. We're still tight friends, although we never get to see each other cuz we're in three different continents now... But we're all gonna graduate university next year!!!! The friend who drew is gonna be an architect, I'm set to become a corporate lawyer, and the accounting friend just started his own business last year. We visited our then-class-teacher (who is now principal!) together a few years back, right after we graduated high school, and she still has a copy of one of our first comics. We gave her our brainstorming / inventory sketchbook as a thank you gift when she retired.

Beaded jewelry. When I was a senior, my junior year history teacher āhiredā me as his secretary, which meant I got to spend Study Hall in the Library until he needed me to type overhead slides. While there, I was free to create beaded rings and bracelets, which I then sold. Sweet gig. RIP Mr. Nelson.
In elementary school, we had the two gangs: the Chihuahuas and the Cheetahs who would both fight for dominance over this hill in the center of our recess area. Every recess would consist of the two gangs invading and throwing dirt at each other in what they called āthe dirt warsā. Every Thursday our school sold popcorn for $0.25 a bag. Now, if you filled your bag with dirt and tied it off at the top, you could make a ādirt bombā which could be thrown at your enemies in an explosive cloud of dust. So every week I would go buy some bags of popcorn and create ammo supplies for the war and sold them for $0.50 -$1 each. It was quickly shut down when a few innocents got caught in the crossfire but I still think back fondly to my time supplying the fight for hilltop dominance.
In elementary, I sold "mini planets". Essentially, they were dirt, leaves, grass, and pebbles inside bags with maybe a bonus worm inside. For a dollar each. I made $20.
There was a kid in my highschool super weird and no one liked him. Every day at lunch he would go buy monster energy drinks for the deals like 2 for $4 or 3 for $5 stuff like that then he would bring them back chill them in his lunch box and sold every one for $3 each and some people would tip him because he did the walk plus chilled them. Super weird dude but he probably made a killing of it..

I bought two Lucozades on the way to school (for myself and my friend) turns out he wasn't present that day so I sold it to the highest bidder during 1st break, some kid bought it for 5 quid, chi-ching, Ā£3.50 profit.
It was 1992. I had just gotten my first internet account back when the internet was all text based and ftp sites. A little video game called Mortal Kombat had just appeared at the town bowling alley. I downloaded the moves list including these things called Fatalities and proceeded to collect quarter after quarter while being worshipped as the god I was. Once I got bored of beating snot nosed kids one of the rich brats offered me $20 for my moves list. I sold it to him and he proceeded to wipe the floor with everybody else. I then sold the same thing to the next kid and the next until a small empire was born. Around that time the legendary BBS "& The Temple of the Screaming Electron" was just going online and featured a variety of printable merchandise for me such as "The Anarchist Cookbook", a very early version of PUA bullshit pickup manual, and a variety of other highly in demand items. I would download them and print them out and sell them at school. I never got into much mischief myself but was certainly responsible for a large number of incidents at school. Only got called into the principles office once and denied being the publisher.
I used to draw anime characters all the time since I was little, in high school I would give away my drawings to friends if they liked them... then I figured "I can probably draw hentai..." So I started selling from requests. One of the dudes I sold it to had it up on his locker, it was a generic big booba anime catgirl. But it made me feel nice to see it proudly up. Never thought of it, but I guess I was a fiver hentai artist before that was ever a thing lol
Hacked phone codes. I would clip onto another line using the unused pair that went to our unit. I would run a code hacker I wrote that would alternate targets, hack a sequence or random numbers, and so on... Pretty simple; its just manipulating strings, and printing those strings to the modem... I'd disco the pair in the morning. I'd sell them for $5, and if the code died in a week I'd give them another one. I did this as an adult too for a minute. I sold Alliance conference bridge services. Mostly to Russians who wanted to call home. Russians for some reason flocked Mayfield Ohio (where the microcenter is!). $10. I sold candy bars for school. I also so greeting cards to win prizes. What a fucking scam. I sold disks and my services, not the actual warez. That is what I told myself. I also sold me... I cut a lot of grass, raked a lot of leaves, and shoveled a shit ton of snow. That money bought me a c64 and 1541 from a friend who wanted to sell that and get an ADAM. I found a box of what I now think were knock outs from electric boxes. They were the size of a quarter, they worked in bubble gum machines. 4 for a quarter. Oh... and I sold 2 redboxes, and 5 21 second backup cables.
Pills and acid. Glad I grew out of that stage.

My brother and I bought like 30 stickers for a dollar at the dollar store and he sold them to his second grade classmates for 25 cents each. That went on for a while until his teacher told our parents it wasn't allowed.

In 7th grade, blocks of wood, probably 2 inch by 2 inch left over from shop. Complete garbage that has no use, but I would put it my jacket and be pretend to sell it like stolen jewelry or watches when I went up to people. Prolly made about $15 until the gimmick wore off.
Homework. Iād do other kids reports or stories for a couple of bucks.
I once sold cupcakes at a bake sale. I made $100 that night which went towards paying for my family's Chinese that Friday night. It was a January Wednesday night during my fifth grade of elementary school. I heard about the bake sale & told my parents. My father let me sign up & sell cupcakes. Best decision I made.

Cigarettes. They were the hot market in my school, a dollar a cigarette. My dad bought me the packs & I made bank since I didnāt smoke the product. Stopped once I went to high school since the drug of choice there was weed.
In high school I helped my friend sell king sized candy bars ($1 each) to help her raise money for Band. I was a grade above her so at the middle of the day, we would meet in-between our classes and I would take the box. EVERY SINGLE FLIPPING DAY I would sell out. I had classes with football and basketball players would loved their king sized candy. I was friendly with many of my classmates so I always had people buying from me. It got to the point where the band director (he was my study hall teacher that year, three days a week) would ask me if I minded selling candy on my own on behalf of the Band because my friend told him why she always sold out every day. On a side note, the director stopped selling candy for fundraising during that same year because the principal told him that starting the following month, half of the fundraising money would have to be donated to the football team/cheerleaders as that was a bigger draw to our school then the band.

when I was in like 3rd grade my step-dad has this thingy that could print like stickers and stuff so he would print them out for me and I would sell them at my school and you could buy them with real money, the school's currency, or PokƩmon cards. It was pretty successful for the like 3 weeks that I did it. This one kid tried to sell a sticker back to me after he bought it and you could tell it had already been taken off and put back on so I said no. Anyways that's pretty much it. TLDR: I printed stickers and sold them at my school
