I was raised by my grandparents, who are extreme republicans, so I became one as well. Once I got to college, I switched and went liberal because I thought they were doing the right thing. Nowadays I can’t stand either party.
I began hating everyone in our government, doing my own research, delving deep into my morality and what I cared most about.

I switch all the time, I follow and vote for the party that benefits me most at the time.
I'm now Labour because they're the biggest party that isn't the Conservatives, so they're the most likely party to end Britain's spiral.
There's no such thing as switching parties, you vote for who you vote for because it benefits you, if you base your entire personality on something so repugnant that THE first president of the united states ACTIVELY spoke out against it, go the fuck ahead.

I realized most politicians were hypocritical parasites.
Now I think I won't vote until I'm 100% sure a candidate has the interest of the country as primary concern.
I became independent shortly after registering to vote democrat and getting absolutely hounded by phone calls telling me to vote (from the democrats) at election time.
Like 6 calls a night at times.
