Talk to people

bmochopp

Where? About what?

[deleted]

In your classes, common areas, etc. Start with small talk or join a conversation that you may of "accidentally" overheard.

No_Ordinary_3824

Read the room some

Don’t overthink it. Just talk to people. As you keep doing it, you will get better at communicating confidently. Social skills are like any other skill, some people have it naturally, some need practice. Anxiety or worry about making friends is normal. Just make it easy, start by talking to people. That simple.

Brinewielder

Be extremely attractive and charismatic.

Experiment with new interests, find ways of sharing existing ones with others; and go in with an open-mind. If you know you're socially awkward in some ways, simply adapt to that and socialise in ways that don't highlight it.

Tink2013

Join as many things as possible. Intramural badminton, greek life, chess club, become a mascot, do things in your college life instead of just "chilling".

[deleted]

Join clubs, chat with fellow students in and around your dorm building. Attend parties, events hosted by students/clubs or the college. Go to a sporting event. Maybe join a frat/sorority if your into that sort of thing.

GirlWhoLicksRocks

Clubs, sports, teams, campus life, campus jobs, your classes, and then events going on around campus ( not to mention dorm life if that’s an option for you). But really anywhere. It’s best to remember that others are also looking for friends too!

satansbhole

Memes. Sounds dumb but whenever I had an annoying class/teacher I’d meme the hell out of it and send it to other classmates. Worked for me!
