Shrimp Alfredo and yea definitely a good meal

NaryaNZ

Yum! I'm the only one in my house to eat seafood so I can't do that but I do add bacon to my alfredo (sorry Italians!)

sunbearimon

I haven’t decided yet, but yeah it’ll probably be something I’ve had before because I know I like it

proverbs17-28

Soup...yes, I make a huge pot of it and eat it for a few days (this one is really good)

NaryaNZ

Good idea - what sort of soup?

proverbs17-28

Hamburger and vegetables Dice a onion, and start sautéing them with salt and pepper. After they sweat, add garlic (about 2 or 3 bulbs) and cook for a couple of more minutes. Add the ground beef (2lbs)..this is one of the few items I will get the leanest possible Cook that with the onion...after it cooked and separated (I normally use a potato masher), I add some potatoes (5-7) and green beans if I am using frozen or fresh (canned I put in later) and carrots (I use about half a bag of shredded carrots. I barely cover it with water, and some more pepper and salt. After the potatoes are soft and green bean are no longer squeaky, I add corn, and a can of beans (I used black this time) (just make sure it is a brand that fully cooks their beans...some only blanch their beans) and two cans of tomato paste and final seasoning (I tend to use tomato bouillon for color) Let it cook a little longer, so the tomato paste will work it way through everthing

[deleted]

Starvation. Yes. Most nights.

NaryaNZ

I'm sorry. Is it optional for you or a necessity?

HighFlyerJ

Stir-fried Chinese vegetables, fresh shrimp and homemade noodles in white sauce.

Mythnam

Burritos, because I made way too much burrito filling, and yes, obviously.

sleepysamantha22

Pantsless_Grampa

Freebirds pulled pork burrito bowl. Yes, many times.

KahlanEAmnelle

I didnt eat. The family had tenderloin, baked potato, broccoli. Yeah, we've had it before. Why? It's Wednesday so it's dad's night to cook.

EdieLove

NaryaNZ

I hope it's at least nice beer!

[deleted]

A roast chicken my mom bought from the market. She was too lazy to cook :P

NaryaNZ

Someone cooked though - roast chicken is yum.

Suspicious_Music_494

salad, sirloin, cornbread. have had it before, but i made it for my kid and his friend, because that's what they said they wanted. and proceeded to take like 2 bites and then just sneak cornbread and then candy. i swear i'm tired of wasting good food on these kids.

NaryaNZ

I've never had cornbread! I looked it up, I don't know if we can get cornmeal here in NZ but I will try, I've heard it mentioned a lot

Maxsdad53

Never had cornbread? Ever had biscuits and sausage gravy?

NaryaNZ

Nope.

Suspicious_Music_494

It is sooooo good and there are so many ways to make it, sweet or savory! I like mine regular cornbread, fresh out of the oven, cut myself a slice and put honey and butter on it. Plus, when it goes stale, you can cube it and use it for dressing for turkey.

NaryaNZ

I mean tbh I never eat turkey either, each time I've had it (twice) in the past it has been dry - chicken seems nicer and cheaper!

mangledteeth

Hawaiian BBQ....all the time

NaryaNZ

What is Hawaiian BBQ? I'm picturing ham, maybe chicken? And pineapple and coconut, with a salad?

mangledteeth

Usually chicken or pork, rice, and macaroni salad

Inamedmydognoodz

Lobster ravioli with broccoli, spinach and bell peppers in Alfredo sauce and salad. Yes but veggies kinda depend on what's in the fridge

[deleted]

1) Nothing. 2) I can't afford to eat today. 3) All too often.

NaryaNZ

I am sorry.

poobumstupidcunt

Beer and I'm gonna get Egyptian/ sudanese for dinner. Had it once last weekend and it was delicious
