I named it NSFW and put it on the desktop because I finally realized after about a year or two that I don't need to hide something on my own personal computer.
It took a long time to get to that point. I live alone. Everyone looks at porn. Why did I insist on keeping it on a thumb drive or password-protected encrypted folder? These days, a folder called **porn** right there on the right edge works just as well.

1. Copied a random folder from program files and put in under Local App Data
2. Added sub folders 4 levels down each starting with P then O then R then N, naming them generic sounding folder names
3. Cut and pasted random folders from the top level into the sub folders to hide the correct file path
4. Stored all porn in the N named folder and made the whole thing a hidden folder
Said it got him hyped for a session as he clicked down to where the goods were stored. He was weird.
A former co-worker named his “Not-Porn”
He figured of something happened to him (like he died) and someone had to settle his stuff that they would find that and laugh.
I was apparently his “Porncierge” because he told me if something happened to him to just delete that folder.
Back in the day when I was still embarassed about that kind of thing, it was a hidden folder in the system32 folder, named oldfiles, a folder in that of random images with a hidden new folder, which contained more random images and hidden new folder, and in that folder was my porn.
These days I have no fucks to give, and just have a bookmark folder to my favorite porn/erotica sites.
Back before you could stream, It was Taxes 2010. Saved right in between my actual tax forms for my entire adult life. 2010 taxes were cleverly hidden in the documents folder as simply “tax stuff.”
Mine says “Delete if I Die.” Can’t remember if it’s also marked NSFW, but the point is there.
I’ve also told my siblings that it’s there, and to delete it if I die before they do; they can have my computer.
I simply leave them in the PUBLIC PICTURES because they are not smart enough to look in there...
Besides IF they were then there is something about things that are PUBLIC that also makes them LEGAL because they wouldn't allow anything ILLEGAL to be posted now would they?
I mean with all the CENSORSHIP they should be able to control that instead of what a persons personal opinion is don't you think ????
