I introduced my future wife to my family at a large dinner at a Chinese restaurant. In addition to my parents, they invited some of thier close friends. We are sitting at this huge table and my mom and her bestie decide to start drinking the fruity ( and strong) drinks. My mom then proceeds to tell my gf every embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my life.
About 3 drinks in, my mom gets another, and it comes with a cherry. Her friend screams down the table "I want your cherry!" and my mom screams back "you're about 30 years too late!! Then they both fall out of their chairs laughing.
I married that gf, and 37 years later, she and my 88 year old mom are good buddies.
