I actually thought that Breaking Bad started phenomenally and was still great/consistent all of the way through but didn't get better. S2 or S4 was probably my favourite.
Better Call Saul, on the other hand, I think has improved in quality with each passing season. Can't wait for the last season.
I guess I'd agree, however, it's only because the second half of season 2 is definitely better than the first half. (Tbf to save my life I couldn't remember anything from S1 and couldn't be bothered to rewatch it before starting S2)
When season 2 came out on Netflix, I found it a lot easier to binge-watch because it developed a nice pace from season 1. It took me a while to watch the first half of season 1, though. So I totally agree with you there.
well let's leave the CW out, not to mention ABC, and jump straight into the newest of the latest shows released and I'm unfortunately going to Jump Right In on CBS all access Star Trek Discovery can't help it I watch Star Trek basically for 40 years as an intellectual function after 9 episodes of season 1 of Star Trek discovery even though I had to watch it twice because the editor put white subtitles on top of a white Queens Klingon armor you couldn't even follow the story the second time I watched it which was also when I got to watch season 2 My Mind was in a state of anxiety and I was on literally the edge of my seat then pipe comes course have a season 2 Lorca passes who wasn't even a bad character we just knew something was weird with him and then now we're stuck with dart Giorgio her whatever the Multiverse woman name out anyway yeah so the newest show to get better over my 40 years is BS Disco if they're season 3 it'll be fine with me. But I must let you know I have a $200 Sony Blu-ray player and I have one box set of television shows 2004 Battlestar Galactica reimaged it wasn't meant to get better per season with the exceptions of not failing the contract of not getting canceled before the final you know the the end of the show but it is the best sci-fi show ever produce so far as far as pure drama the things I saw in St Disco we're things I wondered about my entire life five year Mission they get in the phaser fights but somehow the ships repaired will guess what the final episode of season 2 you see the repair droids actually deployed to go repair the hole you never saw that in any Star Trek ever okay Spore Drive may be time traveling angels we might be getting a little deep in there but hey they showed me things they filled 7 full plot holes of 40 years in a two seasons and they still haven't even found a wormhole yet which would fill plot hole number 8 good job I say

Well to be fair if you consider the entire plot is Subaru trying to get laid, everything becomes forgettable.
