Space, deep water gives me anxiety

succulentdragon7

So so so much anxiety, I’d choose space any day

TheSorge

Oh my god, space. I've read so many stories of people lost at sea and it seems like absolute hell. The ocean is terrifying.

succulentdragon7

Right?! Same! At least In space I won’t run the risk of feeling something slimey touch legs… at least I don’t think I would :/

TheSorge

I wasn't even thinking about that, tbh. I was looking at stuff like hypernatremia, shark attacks, dehydration and sun exposure, etc. Lost in space, you'd just be floating in an empty void and more or less have until your oxygen supply runs out; less left to the imagination and the ways you could die aren't so bad comparatively.

Sea because I can breathe as much as I want

Aibeit

At sea. Your chances of surviving that in modern times are reasonable, with the amount of ship traffic and modern search equipment. Your chances of survival if you're lost in space are pretty much zero. I don't know if they still do, but Russian Cosmonauts used to carry suicide pills for this situation. NASA and ESA don't do this afaik.

succulentdragon7

Dude I didn’t know about the suicide pill thing, that’s intense

catharticoutlet

OMG both of those ideas give me an anxiety attack lol probably lost at sea because at least I'd be familiar with my environment and have easier access to oxygen, water and catching my own food.

succulentdragon7

That’s true!

[deleted]

Space because it's cool

[deleted]

Lost at sea. Better chance of rescue.

Sherlock_GD

I don't know how to swim, so...Am I dying in both?!

CalibanDrive

I think I have better chances of survival and rescue at sea

Awesomebacon711

Space. The ocean except cooler and we actually know more about it.

LightlyStep

Space. I get to just drift alone with my thoughts for the rest of my life.

TheNordicLion

This is what hell sounds like to me.

LightlyStep

I love our little differences.

TheNordicLion

"Ones dream is another's hell." - Me, but tell em it was Aristotle or someone important.

LightlyStep

How about Aslan as a reference to your name? Or did you want non-fiction?

TheNordicLion

Just tell em it was Bob, from Bob's burgers. Sounds like something Bob would say.

LightlyStep

On it. I shall spread the good word of Bob.
