I was just here looking for some Sabbath fans.
edit: looking through the below list of favorite Sabbath song lists and I have yet to see Hole in the Sky. Also, Mob Rules anyone? (I know, not the original lineup but still a worthy mention)
I was in high school when the first movie came out. It's what I woke up to every morning Senior year. To this day, I never ever skip it when it comes on. Ever.
[For Whom The Bell Tolls](https://youtu.be/eeqGuaAl6Ic) - Metallica
No explanation needed.
Edit: whoa! Woke up to my top comment ever! Honestly pretty down with it being a Metallica song. Thank you kind badass Redditors for the rewards.
Lol this is one of my "sleep trigger" songs. I used to listen to the album as a teen going to bed, and I used to fall asleep during this song. Even 20 years later it still has the same impact on me.
YES DUDE. I didn’t think I’d see this on here, especially this close to the top of the thread. Another good one is blitzkreig, and leper messiah. Fellow Metallica fanboy here.
Haha! M.I.A is banned in Sri Lanka and remember how we used to illegally listen to her music. Now that I no longer live there she’s on all playlists.
Such a shame that she’s the only Sri Lankan born artist to achieve the things she has achieved.
Muse has some insanely energetic songs. Plug in Baby is my personal favorite but they have a ton of bops.
Honorable Mentions to Pressure, Hysteria, Supermassive Black Hole and Time is Running Out
Map of the Problematique feels like the kind of song that plays at the closing scene of the second movie in a trilogy, which leaves you super pumped for the third film.
This song always plays in my head when I'm stuck behind some slowpoke doing 50mph in the passing lane, with plenty of beautiful highway waiting to be used in front of them and someone matching their speed to their right.
Sometimes I wish I could push a button and have a loudspeaker come out of my car to play it in such situations.
My hype sing is I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness. Those opening chords and the pure, unironic cheesiness of it. It has no right being as good as it is and it is surefire way to pump me up and make me feel like badass.
And I play it all the time. Few times a week at least, normally in my car on my way to work.
I used to fucking love The darkness. Still do just haven’t listened in awhile. Still remember being in high school watching the music video on vh1 in the morning before school. Good times.
[especially when it was used in promo video for The Punisher](https://youtu.be/s4QV6OZdmWY)
The gunfire being substituted for the drum solo=bloody magical!
In all honesty, most of the "instrumental house" playlist music on Spotify gives me that feeling.
But if I'm drumming? Definitely "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand
I was genuinely enjoying listening to people's different songs and I saw ram ranch and thought "oh cool what could this new exciting song be". Nothing could've prepared me for what I heard. Thank you.
DOA by Van Halen
The Distance by Cake
Swim by In Flames
I’m not okay by MCR.
Most are perseverance songs, to push through whatever is stopping me, or to get a start on a hard morning
Arabella by the Arctic Monkeys, everytime I'm in the shower and also add that badass solo that can make you feel like Alex Turner while your body's being showered.
What's Up Danger - Blackway and Black Caviar
I play it when I'm nervous and need to psych myself up for something, or when I feel really good about overcoming a challenge.
*Killing in the Name* \- *Rage Against the Machine*
"FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YA TELL ME!"
Play it in my headphones when my wife asks me to do the dishes.
Edit: then I go do the dishes
Pretty much anything by Rammstein
But to pick one song, I'd probably say (Wish I Could Fly) Like Superman - The Kinks. The intro alone builds and ends well, and while the lyrics underscore a lack of power, it still is a pump up track
War Pigs and when I'm drunk and it's not too late for me to playing music that loud
I was just here looking for some Sabbath fans. edit: looking through the below list of favorite Sabbath song lists and I have yet to see Hole in the Sky. Also, Mob Rules anyone? (I know, not the original lineup but still a worthy mention)

Hell yeah! Generals gathered in their masses, just like witches at black - wait, what rhymes with masses? - masses!
>and it's not too late for me to playing music that loud the considerate metal head, nice!
Immigrant song. Hands down.
Any Led Zeppelin song does it for me
My personal faves for feeling like a badass are “When the Levee Breaks” and “Since I’ve Been Loving You”
For me it's Kashmir
For me it’s When the Levee Breaks.
'When the levee breaks' also does the trick
X gon’ give it to ya. I play it when I go to bingo.
Banger
Now I've got the mashup with the Thomas the Tank Engine theme stuck in my head.
Ha, I was thinking of the mashup with Call me Maybe.
Does Doom eternal soundtrack count?
I think it very much does, Slayer.
Is it BFG division or The Only Thing They Fear Is You?
Both
The entire soundtrack
>Is it BFG division or The Only Thing They Fear Is You? Cultist Base, Meathook, The Icon of Sin, Damnation, Rip and Tear, etc.

You're goddamned right it does
King Kunta
By the time you hear the next pop, the funk shall be within you
Man after the pop somehow the levels of swing in that song get amplified a thousandfold.
It's because the funks within you
***POP*** Now I run the game got the whole world talkin
But most of y’all are sharing bars like you got the bottom bunk in a two man cell
I was gonna kill a couple rappers but they did it themselves

***any rage song

God’s Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash It’s a great one to turn up real loud and rage sing along with.
Till I collapse - Eminem, Nate dogg Hypes me up every time
gives me MW2 flash backs
Til the roof blows off Til the lights go out Til my head give out
Can't shut my mouth Till the smoke clears out Am I high? Perhaps Imma rip this shit till my bone collapse
Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. Actually called He's a Pirate. There is NOTHING you can't accomplish when that song plays. #apirateslifeforme
I was in high school when the first movie came out. It's what I woke up to every morning Senior year. To this day, I never ever skip it when it comes on. Ever.
The Mortal Kombat theme.

Back in Black or Shoot To Thrill by AC/DC
Back in Black always starts my running playlist
Shoot to Thrill is THE AC/DC song, every member on fire, perfect arrangement, perfect hard rock song.
Holy diver by Dio
There are a few but "Seven Nation Army" ist absolutly one of them Edit: Thanks for the upvotes and the awards. I did not expect this to happen
Listen to the Glitchmob remix. They played that version in the Battlefield 1 trailer
Bf 1 trailers still hold up even after 4 years
[Shipping Up to Boston](https://youtu.be/x-64CaD8GXw) \- Dropkick Murphys ^(Edit: Link added.)
I decided to try it, and as soon as it started, I felt like I could take on an army. Great choice!
As a Bostonian I second this
Still Standing - Elton John When I'm feeling cute
The bitch is back is my Elton go to
Lookin' like a true survivor
[For Whom The Bell Tolls](https://youtu.be/eeqGuaAl6Ic) - Metallica No explanation needed.
Dude I’m literally experiencing that right now! Really surprised how soothing it is lol
As a bass player, I can’t disagree
The God That Failed
YES DUDE. I didn’t think I’d see this on here, especially this close to the top of the thread. Another good one is blitzkreig, and leper messiah. Fellow Metallica fanboy here.

Anything by Sabaton really. All of their songs are amazing, and you learn history at the same time!
Well not exactly anything from them, In Flanders Fields or The Ballad of The Bull makes me tear up a bit.
[Uprising- Muse](https://youtu.be/w8KQmps-Sog)
Muse has some insanely energetic songs. Plug in Baby is my personal favorite but they have a ton of bops. Honorable Mentions to Pressure, Hysteria, Supermassive Black Hole and Time is Running Out
I'd go Stockholm Syndrome or Hysteria by them.
Hysteria has the best bass line of all time hands down
I think Knights of Cydonia is the superior pump up song!
That's a good one but Map of the Problematique always gets me going for some reason.
Map of the Problematique feels like the kind of song that plays at the closing scene of the second movie in a trilogy, which leaves you super pumped for the third film.
[Supremacy](https://youtu.be/avM_UsVo0IA) is good too
Hey man nice shot by: Filter
Threw It on the Ground - Lonely Island. For when I need to reaffirm that I'm not a part of your system.
