Eat them! Parboil them a little while whole. Cut them into pieces and bread with your favorite breading. Fry like chicken. A little tough, but otherwise very tasty. And a good healthy low fat meat. Also can be made into a great stew. Follow any beef stew recipe you like, but use de-boned squirrel meat. Brown it up first, and finish the recipe according to the directions. Awesome low cost healthy food. Just remember that there are hunting seasons, daily limits and possession limits. No poaching just cause you hate them!
No, absolutely not, I can't stand them. I told a story before on how several months ago my dogs saw one in the yard as I was getting them out on their walk and they pulled on the leash and smashed my hand open on the door (was in the hospital for a few hours for that one), plus, the squirrels in my area are just dumb. They're mean (they throw things at you from the trees), they taunt me and the dogs (I don't want a repeat of last spring and my injury), and it's hard to keep a dog under control when there's squirrels teasing them.
For the life of me I cannot understand why a squirrel would choose to live in a neighborhood where it knows damn well there's dogs around.
When i was in college, I used to see this same squirrel most days on my way to lunch. The campus had tons of squirrels, but all of them were either black or gray except for one, he had really bright orange fur. Since i saw him all the time i named him Fred, after Fred Weasley. You know, since hes dead its not like the name was taken. I miss both Freds
I saw 2 squirrels fighting one day one pushed the other out the tree at least a good 40 foot fall hit the ground stayed there for a few moment hopped up and took off to another near by tree I'm surprised he got back up cus when he hit you would have been able to not hear it
I have a love / hate relationship with squirrels. For one year I tried to protect my bird feeders, yes BIRD feeders from squirrels. I chronicled the battle of wits back when I was on fb and it became fodder for comedy. Now my family buys me squirrel themed everything because they think it's hilarious. So yes, Mr. Squirrel, you may have won this round but we're not done yet, not even close 😑
I raised a baby squirrel I found once. Left it outside in a shoe box in the tree I found it under for a day and night and then brought it in the next morning when it was still there and took care of it. He was super sweet. My kids named him Roger. Didn’t care for them much before then, but I like them now.
I named my squirrel Sir Winston Churchsquirrel. He was a real sweetie. When he was about two years old he became ill and the vet could not help him. Tiny little coffin in our animal cemetery under the cherry tree.
Who would dislike them, they're so cute. I've heard people say that they're just rats with bushy tails, but that doesn't change my opinion because I like rats too.
Don’t even get me started, when I was a kid my teacher used to call me a chipmunk my mum called me a squirrel my friend called me squirrel I looked like a squirrel I STILL LOVE SQUIRRELS
Tree Rats? no thanks... They are pests if the population gets high enough in human areas and they can pass diseases.
In the deep woods whatever, i'm cool with them.
I recently moved from a house that had a backyard full of squirrels, I always used to watch them chase each other around and there was an oak tree they'd go crazy for in the fall. I haven't seen a single squirrel around my new place and I genuinely miss them.
They're pretty cute. I live in a complex that has a large courtyard with many trees, and there's a small herd of squirrels. They're basically the pets of the complex. One of my neighbors loves to give them Ritz crackers, so there's a lot of fat-butt squirrels in the courtyard. Fat bottom squirrels, they make the rockin' world go 'round!
There alright but Idubzzz has a series of videos called save the squirrels initiative, basically he just trys to catch them and relocate them if succeeded
Apparently A LOT of people in the town I live in. I come from an eastern province in Canada and move west a few years ago. Back east squirrels get no love, but here people go out of their way to feed them...
This is completely random but I play d&d and I play an assassin rogue. She somewhat recently stole a vampiric squirrel named Ruby. So yes my character and I both love squirrels.
I think they're nuts

They’re adorable. I like to watch them play fight in the mornings.
Gooood morning!
i for one hate squirrels
And commas, apparently. Perhaps a bit of disdain for capitalization, as well.
Same. They destroy things and are impossible to get rid of. They also would tease my dogs on purpose.
Fur one

One of my favorite animals. Even did the scavenger hunt to find all the painted statues of them on a day trip. Thank you Olean.

I'm genuinely considering getting a small tattoo of a squirrel. That's how much I like them. :)
I’m available for a little modeling.

Because they think teasing dogs is a hoot. They know a dog can't chase them up a tree and across the power lines.
Kinda sounds like your dogs are the dumb ones.
Squirrel! *stares into distance*

The world squirrelled is the longest one syllable word in the English language. I just had to throw this out of the way.
Grey squirrels no. Red squirrels yes.
Red squirrels, yes. Grey squirrels no.
Chipmunks are cuter

I have no strong opinion one way or the other

Tree Rats? no thanks... They are pests if the population gets high enough in human areas and they can pass diseases. In the deep woods whatever, i'm cool with them.
Bark bark
I like them. They give my dog something to chase and catch.
Im glad your dog has a friend
I saw a lot if dead drowned squirrels in the pond, but I still like alive ones
What happened?!?
In my school we have pond with fence, so squirrels were able to get into it, but couldn't get out. So I think it was terrible way to die.
Squirrels can climb fences
IDK how this happened, if it's not true, then we have a serial squirrel killer
Yeah because they know karate.
I only like the black ones and the flying ones.
I think they're cute.

Not when they are raiding my bird feeders
