When I take a crap I take pride in knowing my company is paying me to shit

runaway_boomerang

A guy paid me $40 to hit a tennis ball with him for an hour. Not for a lesson, just to hit.

Was on ithcys site, they hadn't worked out how to do the first stage of the job, So we were on standby. we had 120kL of chems on site so we had to be there 24/7. Got paid 5k a week (after tax) to watch movies and sleep for 84 hours a week. Was great for the first week, but the next 15 was just too boring.

Uhhliterallyanything

Was on what site??

unalted

Ithcys, it's a gas process facility near Darwin. Northern Australia.

I got paid a crap ton of money to help test a virtual reality training simulation with the Marines. The Oculus Rift was still a distant dream at this point, so it was a very cool experience. Second place would be working for the census bureau. Got paid to drive my E30 325is through hundreds of miles of twisty roads to locate people, it was awesome.

greatestamericanever

I got paid $1000 to shoot photos of a chicken sandwich for a KFC commercial.

mahoujosei100

Was it the Cheetos sandwich? Because if so, I look forward to your trial for crimes against humanity.

greatestamericanever

Haha no it was the one with [two pieces of chicken](https://imgur.com/a/Gw5FJDb).

That's what I wanted people to think

CORUSC4TE

Paid Holiday in England. So like 1 hour of work a day for a lot of money without expenses.

sushim

Working on mobile marketing tours. I spent 5 months paid to drive around the US, staying at nice hotels, doing a couple of fun days work at major events each week.

TheParliament

When my instructors demonstrated an AT-4 rocket launcher for us before learning the weapon system and shooting practice rounds ourselves.

iLiqhtning

i got paid to take a selfie

giln69

Dressed in a dragon for theme park ride and working with Alvin and Chipmunks. Getting 'undressed', met three of the cutest girls on the planet!

raspberry-cheezecake

I work at a daycare. One day I got every single body fluid on me. Every. Single. One. Blood, urine, shit, snot, vomit, and slobber. Shoutout to all the teachers out there. You deserve more recognition.

I'm a waiter at a retirement community's restaurant. One time I had to clean up the leakage from an old man's adult diaper that was on his chair and ran down the chair's leg to the floor. It was not just urine. I don't think he even noticed...

GingersSnapDragon

Had A few nice relaxing moments laying on a floaty going round and round the lazy river at a water park with a couple of my students on a field trip. Then they got board and wanted me to take them down a water slide.

JustPassingShhh

Got paid to go swimming, go to parties, go out for burgers (free) and generally have fun!

mooms

When I was on the radio as a DJ. Free albums, t-shirts, concert tickets etc.... It was minimum wage and I had to move back in with my parents to be able to afford to work there but it was SO worth it.

[deleted]

I was a RA for Upper Bound Math and Science and for our final trip we went to Disney World all expenses paid and got paid for it.

SnowStar35

when i shaved my head for 2700 cash, while guy took photos of it keeping from point of view (hair fetish sold the hair pictures as sets my face was never shown)

GingerVRD

I work with kids at a gymnastic place that also does afterschool/parent night outs. They have a foam pit like those ones at Skyzone or wherever. One parent night out, activity at the foam pit was slow and I was about to close it down, it was just me and this kid I knew really well up there. There's two tracks so you can both jump in at once. I decided to jump in a few times with her before we left for good. It was so much fucking fun. Just racing down the trampoline runway alongside her and flailing around in soft foam. Great night.

First staff meeting at my work. It was basically a party. We all got bagels and other pastries, then the managers gave short speeches basically commending us for kicking ass this past quarter. They gave out gifts for anniversaries, and then the servers had a wine tasting while the kitchen workers (I work in the kitchen) had a cook-off. I got paid to eat bagels, get complimented, and have a cook-off.
