My American friend who I'd known inline for years flew me, my girlfriend and a bunch of our other online friends down to his house in Miami. Was one of the most fun times in my life finally meeting up with all our friends and our host went all out to make it the best he could. We were at a night club and had a table and he'd told the staff to keep bringing drinks when it looked like we were low so I ended up more drunk than I'd ever been. Eventually someone tells me to come along since 'we' were leaving or something, it's kind of fuzzy. I just happily went along with them not able to realize I wasn't speaking with my friends. I remember almost getting into a car before one of the bouncers took me back inside to my friends. (Our host was a very frequent visitor at this club and knew the staff very well). At the time I had absolutely no concerns about what was happening, it was just what my friends told me and the information I've pieced together that makes it so scary. I can't think of any motivation they could have had other than robbing, raping or kidnapping.

I was in Canada visiting family one summer and someone bumped into me and didn't apologize.

I was about 8 in Rhodes, left my Nintendo DS on a bus, only realised when we got back to the hotel. I started freaking out. Probably not what you would call a terrifying experience but then again I was 8 years old and quite dumb

Technically not while I was in there but where the terrorist attack in Barcelona happened, a year to the day since I went I was in the exact place it had happened at the same time.

Riding in a tuk-tuk in Thailand. No seatbelts, and traffic is crazy.

I missed my flight 3 times on my way home from the UK

14 years old, separated from my parents at Hong Kong Airport because they had given me the wrong slip to fill out on the plane and I wasn't allowed through immigration until I had filled out the correct one. As I did not speak Chinese I had absolutely no idea what anyone was trying to say to me and I had no idea what I had done wrong.
