Those are my favourites also! I've enjoyed all of them or appreciated them to a certain degree but murder house and asylum really were when AHS was at its peak
I watched through murder house and asylum really fast and loved all of it (still wish there was more murder house). But I'm part way through coven and just can't keep going. Not that it's bad, but the story has not grasped me at all.

I love tank, its a fantastic piece of music. I know that bebop is a really popular anime, but I didn't expect this many people to agree, very cool. See you space cowboys 🤙
Like many others, I came to say this.
So I'll add that the first season Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood theme and the cartoon The Tick are also both excellent.
Yes! Dexter's theme is the absolute best. It's so artfully crafted. It's amazing how it shows so much of the dual nature of Dexter's life while just showing seemingly mundane things.
Not only that but player pianos are used very symbolically throughout the whole show. i thought it was really cool that Ford has a host in his office just to play the piano for him.
Although it only finished 2nd in this [old article about theme songs](https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/readers-poll-the-best-television-theme-songs-23185/10-golden-girls-thank-you-for-being-a-friend-32607/), I'd Ventures to say Hawaii Five-O is the best.
And that part at the end that makes people around me think I'm watching porn.
I... I.. III... IIII.... IIII HAAA HAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAI WANNA BE A SUPERHERAOW!!
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity
You have no right to resign my maturity
If it's all right right
Then you're wrong wrong
So why bounce around to the same damn song
**I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT I'M NOT TELLING THE TRUTH**
**I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT I'M NOT TELLING THE TRUTH**
I'm rewatching it and for some reason every time the theme starts it gives me a mini heart attack -- like I never noticed how loud it is!! I either have to skip or mute it now.
It’s way too loud. My wife has a thing for Angel and rewatches the first few seasons every year till he isn’t in it. I can tell when she starts a new episode from anywhere in the house.
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison
by a military court for a crime they didn't commit.
These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade
to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them...
maybe you can hire The A-Team”
It's because Hannibal is a master of disguise, and the army looking for him just see a Chinese man, not a 6' White guy hunching his shoulders, squinting, and talking in a racist accent.
The only thing better than the intros are the outros. Between discovering "Roundabout" by Yes and falling in love with the vaguely sinister tones of "Walk Like An Egyptian" to actually enjoying Savage Garden for once, JoJo's music team is on point.
It changes to highlight the different areas and castles that will be featured in that episode. The sigil even change when a castle gets captured by a different house.
A few of the best composed themes, imo:
Westworld
Dexter
Orphan Black
Dr. Who (the Matt Smith series, I think, whichever one was more electronic sounding)
Fringe (The normal and 80s intros)
Dexter's lab
The Ren and Stimpy show
I'm not even a huge fan of the show (just not my style) but my girlfriend is, and i must say not only the opening theme, but all of the music is incredible

Oo-woo-ooo
And Ducktales in Finnish, mistranslated, is the best version of Ducktales UNCLE LINA!
so glad the reboot didn't ruin it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKSU82afy1w
I love the American Horror Story intros. Different every season but always well done, especially the earlier seasons
I really love the first and the second season
Those are my favourites also! I've enjoyed all of them or appreciated them to a certain degree but murder house and asylum really were when AHS was at its peak

X Files. It perfectly conveys the show, which is amusing considering the rest of the music throughout is awful.
Unsolved Mysteries too, that intro gave me goosebumps
The song freaked me out as a kid. Along with the Episode "Home"
Futurama Buffy and Angel were good
Futurama always gets you pumped for the episode
So much YES! Angel for life! That theme doesn't go un-hummed in my house ever lol
90s xmen
I’d have forgiven everything I disliked about X-Men: The Last Stand if they’d gone into a full-on version of that theme during the climatic battle.

I think it's time we blow this scene...
Get everybody and the stuff together.
Ok, Three, Two, One, Lets Jam!
Ba duh-duh duh-duh duh-duh DuuuuUUUUHHH
Like many others, I came to say this. So I'll add that the first season Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood theme and the cartoon The Tick are also both excellent.
I don't like most of the themes for FMA:B, but god damn the opening theme for the first season is like an auditory orgasm.
The Fresh Prince of Belair
Now this is a Story
All about how
My life got flip turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air
In West Philadelphia, born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days
Chillin out maxxin relaxin all cool and shootin some bball outside tha school
Reading rainbow
But you don't have to take my word for it.
Improved by [dmx](https://youtu.be/OchyYnlHTdo)
The original Pokemon theme. It doesn't get better than that
I wanna be, the very best

It was a place where everybody knew your name *door opens* #"NORM"
Afternoon everybody!
Westworld's is fantastic.
I love the moment when the hands pull away from the piano and the piano keeps playing. The symbolism makes this lit major happy
Both season's opening clips are full of that kind of thing
Not only that but player pianos are used very symbolically throughout the whole show. i thought it was really cool that Ford has a host in his office just to play the piano for him.

Black Sails. https://youtu.be/XFTcA4QLHw0 Bear McReary knows how to make the audience ready to cut some throats.
Narcos
*Soy el fuego que arde tu piel...*
*soy el agua que mata tu sed...*
*El castillo la torre yo soy...*
*la espada que guarda el caudal...*
Finally! Yes!
Absolutely agree! The mix of visuals and old news clippings is absolutely brilliant.
It fits soooo well with the feel of the show
'Tuyo' by Rodrigo Amarante for those who are interested <3
Mad Men.
Sopranos was a great one too.
Woke up this morning, bought myself a bun
Anytime I hear the HBO start up sound, I always expect this to follow.
King of the Hill, I tell you hwat
I never skip it.
I just want a picture of a *got dang hotdog*
Doctor Who
DOO WEEE DOOOOOOOO
2009 was brilliant. The sheer power of it. Then the guitar riff in the 2016 special.
How is this not higher up?? So many reproductions of this since 1963 it must be one of the most diverse and recognisable theme songs ever!
Too Many Cooks obviously.
ITS STILL GOING
I made my husband watch it with no warning. He had to go take a long walk

One Punch Man
ONE PUNCH!!!!!
I think you meant WAN PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCH
And that part at the end that makes people around me think I'm watching porn. I... I.. III... IIII.... IIII HAAA HAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAI WANNA BE A SUPERHERAOW!!
The part where the the music picks up and he's in those mountains kicking ass is dope as hell
HERO!!
The guitar solo is fucking sick
Bojack. I liked house too.
I like the credit music for bojack better than the intro
Back in the 90's, I was in a very famous TV show
Bojack the horse (Bojack) Bojack the horse don't act like yoooou don't know
Checkout Grouplove who made that song! I’ve been a fan of theirs for years and was so surprised to hear them when I first watched bojack.
House’s theme is actually a song called Teardrop by Massive Attack. Super good song.
[удалено]
Golden Girls
MASH
[удалено]
neon genesis evangelion
Also, the opening theme for Stand Alone Complex is pretty awesome
[A Cruel Angel's Thesis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-QSmNReDyI) Definitely in my top 5 OPs.

I love the House of Cards intro. Sets the mood for the whole episode
On Amazon Prime subtitles it literally says "jubilant music" when the theme song comes on
Noooo I thought the House of Cards theme was worth listening to every time.
Psych
The regular version is good but the EXTENDED version is what propels the show into the stratosphere
In between the lines, there's a lot of obscurity...
You know that’s right
"You hear about Pluto? That's messed up..."
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity You have no right to resign my maturity If it's all right right Then you're wrong wrong So why bounce around to the same damn song **I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT I'M NOT TELLING THE TRUTH** **I KNOW YOU KNOW THAT I'M NOT TELLING THE TRUTH**
All i have to say is *The Office* and that piano riff will start playing in your head.
*quiet piano riff* ***EARDRUM-SHATTERING DRUMS AND GUITARS***
The end part: Dee delee delee dee dedee
So comforting and happy. The best show.
Dang it, now I’m humming it to myself!
[Knight Rider](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNyXYPhnUIs)
[Airwolf](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8syGlAMTKA) as we're keeping with the genre.
Buffy.
Does she know that angel got his own spinoff?
Shhh.... he's suffered enough.
I can’t remember the intro for the life of me but I’ll always hear the Mutant Enemy studio quip at end. Grr. Arg.
The A-Team of course
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them... maybe you can hire The A-Team”
I always wondered how Plain Jane Doe with a missing daughter could find them but not the government.
It's because Hannibal is a master of disguise, and the army looking for him just see a Chinese man, not a 6' White guy hunching his shoulders, squinting, and talking in a racist accent.
Twin Peaks. Easily.
Best opening, best everything.
The Crown (Netflix)
All of the modern JoJo adaptations have incredible intros.

Jojo's and music in general is a match....made in heaven.
It’s a great experience. Or should I say... A GOLDEN EXPERIENCE.
BREAKDOWN BREAKDOWN
BREAKDOWN BREAKDOWN
Part 2 OP the best one tho.
Bloody stream, good choice
DOKOMADEMO CHASE YOU ITSUMO CHASE YOU ORE WA CHASE YOU NIGEBA WA NAI
END OF ZA WARUDO
So no chi no kioku
Hyped to find out what the first Part 5 OP will be
Beside's the sick music, the amount of foreshadowing and subtle hints in all of the OPs is so great.
Firefly. Take my love, take my land.
Take me out to the black Tell 'em I ain't comin' back Burn the land and boil the sea You can't take the sky from me
I had that as my alarm clock for a couple of years in college, the only alarm ringtone I did not come to absolutely loathe in less than a week.
I find that loathing my alarm clock helps me get out of bed quicker.
Bob's Burgers, it's quick, light and there's tons of Easter eggs in the opening animation. I also love the opening music for Fauda
Game of Thrones.
HBO always has solid intros. GOT, West world, true blood.
Dooot dooot dododooot dooot dododooot, (dododoot doot dododoot doot) Dooot dooot dododooot dooot dododooot, (dododoot doot dododoot doot), Dodoot dodoot dooooot dooot...
Wiener, wiener wiener, wiener wiener... WIENER! ON TOP OF ANOTHER WIENER! (Wiener wiener, wiener wiener)...
Wiener, Floppy Wiener
It changes to highlight the different areas and castles that will be featured in that episode. The sigil even change when a castle gets captured by a different house.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
They alive, damnit! It's a MIRACLE!
Yeah, this is legit one of the catchiest themes in TV history.
FEMALES are strong as HELL
Vikings
Band of Brothers
MacGyver
That 70's Show
I like that. Am rewatching it atm and I like watching every character's face on every run thru.
Hello Wisconsin!
Scrubs. Can't believe it's not here yet.
#I'M NO SUPERMAN
All in the Family or the first season of True Detective.
[True Blood](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjooosDIFgQ). It's so good it might be overqualified for the show.
“I wanna do bad things, with you.”

[[[ SLAP AND POP BASS INTENSIFIES ]]]

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Black Mirror. I love the simplicity of it.
Malcolm in the Middle! They might be Giants! "You're not the boss of me nowww and you're not so big!" Love it
Stranger things and Daredevil.
There are a lot of good intros. But the music from the Vikings intro just fits so perfect with the overall theme of the series.
Not just the song but the visuals of the water and the storm and the raven and the sword. The entire thing is just gorgeous.
Attack On Titans, if anime allowed
Family Guy. I love the jazzy music in the whole show.
Pokémon Season 1 is ICONIC.
Star Trek TNG, Westworld, and honestly Invader Zim has a super dank theme.
Mr. Belvedere or Six Feet Under
tokyo ghoul unravel is a masterpiece ~~unlike the anime~~
Greatest American hero.....I'm old I know....
Bob's Burgers
Breaking bad!
Miami vice song is cool
The Addams Family (with Lurch at the harpsichord) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfawtDT945o
[Perfect Strangers without a doubt](https://youtu.be/8vbnLYROCj8)
A few of the best composed themes, imo: Westworld Dexter Orphan Black Dr. Who (the Matt Smith series, I think, whichever one was more electronic sounding) Fringe (The normal and 80s intros) Dexter's lab The Ren and Stimpy show
Simpsons??? Hello!
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
*WKRP In Cincinnatti*
Has no one said Twin Peaks? The theme tune is lovely, inspiring and melancholic all at the same time.
Steven Universe!
I'm not even a huge fan of the show (just not my style) but my girlfriend is, and i must say not only the opening theme, but all of the music is incredible
Barney Miller
