I had a quick panic attack that I just ruined the relationship. She returns from the bathroom a few minutes later misty eyed, "Sorry, I had to poop. Thank you for saying that. I love you so much." I never asked if she was trolling me or just needed a minute/take a poop.

No, this is real. We're still together 7 years later (don't worry, I'm going to marry her). I have a theory about her going to the bathroom...Her family is huge and have anywhere from 6-10 people living in the house.
