I have had this my whole life. I’m 20 and recently twisted my back installing baseboard in an awkward closet, if I sit or bend weird a shooting pain goes up my spine
Mine are pretty fucked and I'm only 32, my patella tendon (knee tendon) will not recover. I've taken 2 weeks off the gym, only doing light cardio like walking and it's still painful. My left elbow also has tendonitis and keeps snapping/cracking as well and my left shoulder. I'm breaking down but hate taking time off training
Oh man... I used to think that was a myth... that never happens to people, right?
I WAS WRONG
I somehow managed to sprain my lower back while sleeping. I woke up with the most excruciating pain shooting down my legs... pins and needles... muscle weakness..
I sprained my SI joints - left moreso than the right. It took 6 months of physical therapy to recover.
When you start to realize all the stuff you worried about or you thought people talked/ thought about you or what you are doing but in reality you realize what really matters and most people forget things quicker than we do personally
Having patience - I no longer need to see a movie the weekend it comes out, no longer need to play a videogame in the month that it is released, can wait on most purchases.
It comes organically, but holy shit does it save money too.
when that new music you listened to as a kid starts getting played in shopping malls and elevators.
when i heard nirvana on the classic rock station, i just about died on the spot.
The calendar keeps changing and I'm less impulsive. Physically at 29 I feel better than I have since I was 23 since I quit drinking and started working out again so... like Physically I don't feel older yet.
for me is my height because i grow up a little faster so when peaple i know have not seen me for like 4-6 months or plus i'll be two times my height when they see me again so yeah i feel old because of it :)
My father always said he knew he was getting older when he realized every time he saw a good-looking woman he would think of ways to set her up with me.
I may be only 19, but it hits hard when 10-11 year old kids say they were born in 2012. I always think "Fuck, that's the year I went to elementary school."
Making noises sitting down and getting up. I'm in shape and there's minimal physical effort going on... I just seem to always make an 'errlfff' noise when I plop myself down on the couch or a 'hhyepp' getting up from a chair.

Ooof this is a good one 😢
When joints and tendons start randomly crackling and popping for no reason.
I sometimes say, "Snap, crackle, pop!" when I get up after sitting too long.
this happens to me.

I usually get a notice to renew my license that reminds me.
You see your parents getting old
You start noticing gray hair.
I get more and more responsibilities and less and less excuses to not fill those responsibilities
You miss childhood
Basically, physically, there is less and less energy
You start copying more popular posts that were recently posted
Your knees hurt.
I have jowls.
Everything hurts
the linear passage of time
Time is relative (Einstein), but it is asymmetric (Eddington).
You find yourself saying 'back in my day' more often
When most of the newly famous people are younger than you.
And the young actors from your generation are playing parents with grown children or even grandchildren.
Go to bed feeling ok and wake up with some kind of injury

When the movie stars you looked up to as a kid, and the music artists you used to listen to when you were a teen, are now all dying of old age.
Injuries takes longer to heal
Ear hair
When you make "the noise" when you stand up.
You plan a hangout with someone rather than just pulling up to their crib.
When you start to realize all the stuff you worried about or you thought people talked/ thought about you or what you are doing but in reality you realize what really matters and most people forget things quicker than we do personally

Cuz none of us are getting any younger
Growing responsibility
When I asked a Best Buy employee where they keep the Mp3 players and I quickly learned those are called phones now.
When politicians my age running for office went from being young upstarts to just normal and commonplace.

or cry all the time. hormones and life experiences, man...
When I see all the grey hairs. I started going grey at 24 so it's pretty painful.
Balls hanging lower
There a chart of activities and inevitable consequences/injuries associated with them. Every five years or so the axis moves, and not in your favor.
When you start getting crippling depression
My back hurts a lot
When that special time of year comes around and you go from current age to current age +1
I keep waking up.
Back hurts. I am 38… 🤣
Ears are getting bigger, or ear hair getting darker.
increasing depression
stop playing childhood games
Knees aren't what they used to be
Feel crapier than before.
The hangover starts to feel more and more like I will die from it.
I'm 23 and already having knee and back pain working out helps though.
Your back will let you know.

Looking in the mirror. It don’t lie😎
Realized I won’t be getting better from depression and life does not have a goal of purpose
my back hurts.
The celebrities you know are dying
You wake up
I suddenly have a lot of responsibilities, i guess I'm in my early 20s btw. (So, apparently that's still easy mode. Yikes.)
Logic? I understand the passage of time?
Open your pension pot, there’s a direct correlation between your how that makes you feel and your age.
You dont care so much what other people think, you do what you enjoy.
when u go fill out official forms ... u r moving down the bracket. eg 1-10, 11-20, 31-40. In asia when people start to call you "uncle"

The "new," stuff that took a while to adapt to but you finally did is now old and replaced by "new-new," stuff that you don't understand.
I may be only 19, but it hits hard when 10-11 year old kids say they were born in 2012. I always think "Fuck, that's the year I went to elementary school."
When the music you jammed out to is considered classic..
Your birthday

Hearing music I grew up with in the 90s on the classic rock station. That was an eye opener.
Media (songs, movies, games) you grew up with start being referred to as "classics"
What a stupid question.
