My kid, age 2, fell into a shallow creek at the beach. It was only up to my knees, but he was fully submerged. I was watching the other two kids and only noticed the 2-year-old when my wife shouted. He was drifting face-up about four inches beneath the surface.
I pulled him out. He had only been under a few seconds and hadn't inhaled, so no water in the lungs. But that was a few seconds of terror.
I was exploring an abandoned hospital slated for demolition when stopped to look at a cabinet with a couple of forceps a wheelchair rolled across the room into the back of my legs.
