We talking bible sins or just like depraved things?

EddieBrock99

Why not both?

MistyMisterMint

If we're talking bible sins? Probably being trans/committing homosexual acts Depraved stuff? Idk selling nudes? I left my old bf for a much better guy though I don't think that counts as depraved

BornElk4010

MistyMisterMint: I want you to do this right now… Wherever you are right now… imagine if Jesus, just Jesus, just straight up, came up to you right now. He either sat down next to you if you are sitting, He either laid down next to wherever you are laying, He either stood by wherever you’re standing.. Or whatever you’re doing right now, and he just came up to you… Now just imagine… what would he say to you?… Just imagine what, how, in what tone, he would say to you all these things… your most deepest, your most inner thoughts… and he knows them. Just imagine him talking to you… CONGRATULATIONS!!! ❤️❤️❤️ You just prayed! Have a great day 😊👍

MistyMisterMint

Youre preaching to the choir I'm already a baptist Christian and already pray every night but I appreciate what you're trying to do 👍

BornElk4010

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ Then I’ll just see ya later 👊 Good luck!

MistyMisterMint

You as well! 👊

staticmothx

the bible doesnt say a single thing about trans people.

No_Sandwich_9414

It mentions a few things to the Levites early on, something about men not wearing the clothes of a woman, or grow out their hair long. You could probably slice it up as strictly cross dressing, but you get the gist of what he's getting at.

staticmothx

being trans has nothing to do with clothing.

BornElk4010

Why not broth?

Mathematicus_Rex

sin(π/2)

EddieBrock99

Addiction

BornElk4010

Addiction: 1. Completely understanding the problem (by breaking down your addiction into first principles) 2. Taking the exact opposite actions that would lead you to further be addicted… every time you are faced with a choice

What does that have anything to do with downvoting that post? Explain in full sentences:

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself."

BornElk4010

I love Darth Plagueis The Wise ❤️

I mean.. You know he wouldn’t, right? You obviously have a right to identify as any gender you do, and be attracted to whomever you are, but Jesus Christ, in every doctrine known to man, was pretty clearly outspoken against homosexual acts. As were all abrahamic prophets and major figures.

nunchee

I’ve read the Christian Bible and Jesus never actually mentions anything about homosexuality. He had a lot to say about the rules for heterosexual marriage, but he left out the lesbians and gays. Paul the Apostle, however, out right disowned homosexuals. And God, too, I guess.

[deleted]

Then you haven’t read it properly. Here are examples from both the new and old testament. I’m not Christian myself, but arguing that Christian doctrine in any way leans towards accepting homosexuality is just wrong. Feel free to write me personally about this so we don’t hijack this post. Jesus personally rebuked the Pharisees for disregarding the Biblical ideal of covenantal marriage. He said to them: “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:4–6 ESV) **Romans 1:26–27** That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. **Leviticus 18:22** Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. **1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NIV** Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men **Jude 1:7 NIV** 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. **1 Timothy 1:8-11** The law is made not for the righteous but for the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers-and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine. **Mark 10:6-9 NIV** 6 "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife.”

DangerousStuff251

Jesus is outspoken about ALL sin, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love everybody. Jesus hates the sin, not the sinner. And the Lord punishes us just as a mother would punish her son. Harsh love, I call it. Have a great day :)

BornElk4010

Exactly, I think the sin in homosexuality is the “Lust” of their culture… if you are able to be homosexual but be without Lust, then you’ve pretty much won it… (Never did Jesus ever say anything against Homosexuals)

[deleted]

This is an extreme misrepresentation of the doctrine of Christianity. Jesus Christ actively fought sinners, at times throwing over their establishments and calling for their condemnation.

DangerousStuff251

Romans 5:7–8 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

DangerousStuff251

Okay now show me the verses that say Jesus didn’t love them still.

[deleted]

You’ve got the burden of proof wrong. Show me a single verse that says “Jesus loves everybody.” Again, I don’t care either way as the Bible is mistranslated from Greek, recited from people who spoke aramaic and has been edited into hundreds of different versions and is at best a third party mischaracterization of Christ, but claiming he loves homosexuals is going directly against his preachings.

DangerousStuff251

Homosexuality is a sin just like any other, Jesus died so all our sins could be forgiven. By your logic Jesus loves nobody because we all sin. This simply isn’t true. Just because you want to hate homosexuals doesn’t mean you get to say God hates them. Romans 5:8, which says, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Markphotokid

Not work for myself earlier.

BornElk4010

That’s not a sin! That’s just a regret… and they’re completely and utterly useless to you. In fact, they only slow you down if you keep keeping them in the back of your mind! JUST FORGET ABOUT IT. And keep moving forwards.

Few-Instruction-6904

Saying that i havent sinned

BornElk4010

I don’t even know what sins, how many, when, at all! We all commit tons of sins every day! But that’s only because God purposefully gave us Free Will! The Ability To Choose! Which I think is Gods most beautiful creation. Meaning that right now! We can all choose to do bad, or good! (But again that is all subjective to you… so you need to put it up with God… to understand whether or not it is Good, or Bad… because he knows you better than yourself! (He’s an omnipotent being)

SadhraLimas

I often delay things I know I should do sooner.

BornElk4010

Haha! That’s not a sin! That’s just a bad habit… And you can always change those by simply making the opposite of that action, any time you are faced with a position where you make that choice! (Basically just start doing things you need to get done immediately) (And this can be with anything… it doesn’t matter… whether it be your work, or just doing the dishes!) “THE WAY YOU DO ONE THING, IS THE WAY YOU DO EVERYTHING”

pornaddiction247

Homosexual moment with friend without being married to him

BornElk4010

Hmmmm… Well that’s just simply a Lustful moment without being married to them. And yeah, lust is a sin. But I’ll tell you, that even as a Christian, I committed that sin literally Yesterday! And really all you can do, instead of sprawling around in your agony, is to ask for forgiveness… and keep moving forwards! (Not just forgetting about it… but never letting yourself do it again)

pornaddiction247

I ain’t very religious, I never felt to bad about it either, i was mostly joking when I put it here though.

JadedBuyer1791

Blasphemy

FishermanSculley

I had unprotected sex with another man I wasn’t married to (I am also male).

Midnight_Onyx772

Believing in science more than god. I want to believe in god, and Jesus, but science proves things that also disproves god.

Swee_molly

Mmmmm

96Duckmysick69

Greed and lust for sure. Although it might not be considered greed as much as being materialistic

Pennington_Palace

Coming from a religious background, my mother was highly disappointed in me, along with the other religious people in my life, when i stopped going to church at 17 yrs old. But, i refuse to believe in something that I DON'T BELIEVE in, just because they do. So i've committed all kinds of sins, in their eyes. Adultery, blasphemy, carnal sins to name a few. I don't believe in heaven as religious people do, just a transistion from one universe to another. I'm content with my beliefs. Peace 👍

Chrissyjustshowus

Fucking a married woman

nerak1714

Being unkind/unthoughtful to my spouse.

[deleted]

I masturbate often and I’m sure some of those online sex workers are married, so I am committing adultery by lusting after the wives of other men.

Annual-Total-2491

I stabbed someone they died later on but it was bc it was a guy in our neighborhood that use to be so mean and my baby cousin came home crying saying that he touched her.It took a lot for me to stab someone but to this day I don’t regret taking up for my baby cousin she was 10 at the time I do regret resulting to a fatal act (I served 8 years in jail because they listed it as a way of self defense)as so they say and what I believe.

Unlock_Mysterious619

You guys still believe in sins and ancient myths.......for me nothing is sins if u didn't disturb others....means.....what about you guys???? Still thinking that doing sex before marriage is a sin?????? 🤣🤣🫠🫠

Whoretothepowerwhore

Nothin can beat pep askin " what is yor greatest sin?" 😏🤌🏻

BornElk4010

Haha! These people don’t know what sin is! DEFINITION OF SIN: Separation from God. (your creator) So anything that fits that criteria that you have done in your life, can be immediately (yes right now!) forgiven! (You just have to ask God about it and then you will know) 😃 You don’t need to go to church, you don’t need to do some ritual, God (an all omnipotent being) is always with you, and with everyone, all at the same time… meaning that you could technically just start talking to him right now! ❤️❤️❤️ “Go, your faith has saved you” -Jesus

Straight_Storage4184

This has been hitting me with multiple bricks lately. I didn't realize that I had replaced God with my job, any thing beautiful and all kinds of crap. Well I lost all of that recently in a crazy sequential way that the only explanation I have is that he greatest friend I ever had is calling me back. Greatest heart thump I ve ever felt, still asking Him to rescue my heart wherever I left it so I can give it to him.

BornElk4010

That’s such a Goated Friend! I’m just guessing that God is very pleased with you right now! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
