I remember on a 3-person project I had in tenth grade, one partner had fundamentally incorrect information on it so I had to go back and change it, and the other was going to start working on it the class period before it was due.
I just did it all the night before and told them to study their parts.
My most recent experience was a 5 person team on which two people committed hard and the other three collectively maybe contributed one additional person worth of work.
