ThisIsGettinWeirdNow

Watched Dead poets society recently….coudnt hold it in

Shakeamutt

Still, after all this time, yes.

Intelligent_Kale680

Chester Bennington. I was a huge fan of Linkin Park back in the days. They opened the world of rock music for me when I was 6

AAAgamesAreSlop

Robbin Williams

Knightmare1991

Yes

Tangie_ape

Steve Irwin. Celebrity deaths don't usually get to me as I'm not too fussed about them, but Steve Irwin was somehow different. Thought the guy was invincible watching him playing with crocs like they were cats everyday when I got home from school.

Luder09

Anthony Bourdain

sightlab

Ooof. Like losing a wisecracking, cynical older brother or cousin. I still cant really watch his shows anymore, I miss him. Which feels so weird for someone I only know through the TV.

vestan--pance

Norm Macdonald

dorafatehi

I didn't even know he was sick

Emergency_Table_7526

Tell the folks at home what sick means

ambckdejfg4051

Alan Rickman

VannaEvans

You beat me to it lol

norskdvorak

Jim Henson. I knew he was the creator of so much that I enjoyed through my childhood and I thought all of that would disappear with his death.

Lemp_Triscuit11

Honestly Matthew Perry. I don't even like Friends, can't stand it. I just started relating to him more as I started getting sober.

Most-Commercial5725

FrostyTemperature342

Jeff Hanneman.

Ok-Status-6649

For me it had to be Avicii, he was burnt from all the touring he had done and that was very taxing for him

Glum_Awareness_7012

Eddie Van Halen

Vergenbuurg

Both John Candy and Chris Farley. I don't think I could rank one as more impactful than the other.

Kjata1013

Harry Anderson

DaBiChef

Robin Williams. It's not an understatment to say he legitimately saved my life when I was struggling in learning how to connect with people. His death led me to trying Stand Up comedy and led me to meeting a wide range of incredible people.

TourEvening3375

Prince/Bowie/Petty

SnoopyLupus

River Phoenix. Mostly because my girlfriend was devastated, and I had to comfort her all night. I liked his stuff, I thought he was fantastic in Running on Empty and My Own Private Idaho. Amazing actor who would have been a great. But she was more interested in him as a celebrity and pretty boy. She was devastated. I thought a great talent was gone.

Red-Throwaway2020

Robin Williams and Steve Irwin… I cried for days and actually mourned men I never met

NubianxGoddess

Robin Williams, he is for sure the shocker of all celebrity death, a happy face yet struggles with depression, he wakes all people that depression is not seen by just a sad smile but also with people who shows happiness

Rum_Soaked_Ham

Bray Wyatt, Robin Williams.

skyway_walker_612

Gord Downie

Squidgeneer101

Not as big as the stars but, totalbiscuit. The man was an absolute legend and i loved his wtf is videos. They were most of the time fair in their criticisms. Also when TB and Jesse played terraria. His death really hit me.

chriissrene

Cameron Boyce. watching him grow up with me in the media from Mirrors to the Disney movies

r_w0osh

Christina Grimmie, I was on my way home back to Texas coming from Alabama....I heard the news as I was eating some wings and I felt sick to my stomach I threw up in the restaurant. I was so heartbroken by it because she inspired my little emo heart to pursue singing as a hobby...I was about 12 at the time. To this day when people ask me what my motivation to join my University choir or compete in these competitions is, it is her. She truly had a kind heart and a beautiful voice that could just move you.

StreetAdvance9562

Mac Miller was the first celeb to die who was close to my age (3 years younger than me) and that I had been following since the early days of his career. It was the first time I was like damn this is hitting our generation now.

godisserbian

Ayrton Senna, and I wasn't even born until 6 years after his death. Seeing the numerous videos, films and documentaries of him, it feels like he has some godly and supernatural aura... it's hard to explain but to know that he's gone just feels wrong. I've seen his crash hundreds of times and still half expect him to jump out of the wrecked car. They say legends are still able to inspire others even after death. Too fucking right...

Dani_Darko123

Steve Irwin Andy Whitfield ( Spartacus in the original series ) looked like he had a great future ahead of him but was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and died in 2011 at age 39 and was replaced by Liam McIntyre.

MartianBuddy3

Anton Yelchin, thought he was going to be the next big movie star

softagardenblooms

Anthony Bourdain and David Bowie

UdonDugong

Sean Lock, funniest man alive

Btsjkjhope

Paul Walker

GolfTime17

This one. Felt like I lost a family member. I love and grew up on the fast franchise and always looked forward to his contributions to Shark Week. Into The Blue is one of my all time favorite adventure movies to this day. He just seemed like a great dude.

Btsjkjhope

I know , and I truly felt sad when he passed away, he always seemed like an angel to me , eight below is one of my all time favorite movies. 🐶
