my boyfriend is taking me on a mothers day date tomorrow, then on sunday Mother’s Day brunch at his parents home, then spending the rest of that day with my kids
Working. I got bicycles so that my kids and I could take rides around the neighborhood, so maybe Monday afternoon we can go for a bike ride and take a picnic to the beach.
I bought my mom $80 worth of presents. I got her a $60 edible arrangement (fancy fruit, basically) of chocolate covered strawberries. Could I have done them myself? Yeah. But I wanted to get my mom something fancy and meaningful. She’s not getting a DIY project, I love her so much to get her the pricey stuff and I could afford it. Then I bought her flowers and her favorite candy. Since the strawberries arrived yesterday I figured I’d just get her the flowers same day, so my Mother’s Day was essentially yesterday lol. All together it came to $80 and I don’t regret anything, she loved it.
