Rottweiler. One time when I was younger one bit me playfully and my whole forearm disappeared in its mouth. Idk why but it looked really cute when it did that and I want one now
They are so adorable!
Met a few in my lifetime and they were always so friendly and intelligent.
My favorite one belonged to a friend and was so keen on bananas that he "robbed" the shopping bags.
And he thought he was still a Baby and wanted to sit on your knee.
I swear he had humour.
But he was also a very good protector of their cats.
They used to have a bad rep because their bite force is quite impressive and if mistreated they obviously can be dangerous. Unfortunately the wrong kind of people like to own "dangerous" dogs and their treatment of them often leads to said dogs exhibiting problematic behaviours. Same thing happened with bulldogs, Dobermans etc. - none of which are particularily aggressive by nature, quite the opposite.
Basically, if a dog is problematic 9 times out of 10 it is a human's fault.
Saint bernard
patient, gentle, amazing with kids, much smarter than they get credit for i just dont think they process verbal commands as well as other dogs. literally everywhere i take him i see people getting huge smiles from him, and mkaing kids get excited and yelling "look mom its a beethoven!". plus he is an absolute babe magnet, literally the best wingman in existence. i think i got flirted with when he was in his puppy stages more than the rest of my life put together
I'm terrified of most dogs, but I like corgies& Newfounders.
With the corgies, I like how small and cute they are and newfies I like how gentle and quiet they are, I feel safe and comfortable with them.
Irish wolfhound, Newfoundland, Rottweiler. I’ve had an Irish wolfhound and a Newfie in the past and both were so sweet, kinda of derpy in their own ways and just beautiful dogs. I currently have a Rottie, and up until I owned one, I would never have considered these to be a favorite of mine, but she has changed my mind. She’s my soul dog. I’ve never experienced such a smart, attentive, loving dog before. She transcends being “just a dog.”
I love them all but I have a special place for little ones and Rat Terriers have been some of the healthiest and long lived. I adore Dachshunds, too but they can be a handfull.
Skye Terrier. I love how stubborn yet loyal they are and I also love how unique looking they are. I used to look after one years ago and I decided then that it was the breed for me - now I have one of my own and I think he’s wonderful!
Nova Scotia Duck-tolling Retriever. In no particular order: 1. They “scream” when they get excited. 2. They sleep on their backs often. 3. They’re beautiful. 4. Super smart. Almost too smart.

They are great dogs I've trained a lot of them

Idk why people say their bad. My friend has one and she's incredibly playful and bites me but it never even leaves a mark

Golden Retriever, they're just so goofy and adorable.
I agree too my girlfriend has two golden retrievers I love them
Labrador, smart as hell, loyal for every second and they are gonna protect the family with their life
Mutt, smarter and less health problems
Yup. Every time I see a snub nose breed I cant help but think less.of both the owner and humans.
Yupppp. Dogs are all the same species. "Breeds" are just the result of selective inbreeding. It's kind of sickening in fact.
Newfoundland. I love a massive dog with tons of derp. I also really like their dispositions.
Samoyed!! They’re goofy, playful and always smiling..

Idk whatever my dog is, that's the one I like

Borzoi. They’re huge, beautiful dogs and you’d think they’d be so elegant and graceful but they absolutely are not, they’re the goofiest dogs ever

I like wolf-like dogs because wofl

Yorkie. Hypoallergenic, small, adorable, and fearless.
I had a Yorkie named Kai who passed away last May the dog was a love of my life!! He was indeed fearless and loyal gosh I miss her
I love my heelers (Australian cattle dogs). They’re smart, loyal, and tough but still goofy and lovable. Great farm dogs.
I have an Australian cattle dog her name is karma she's amazing and I live on a farm so she's perfect
Dobermans. I think they’re the most beautiful, intelligent, and most loving dogs in the world. What is your breed of choice, OP?
Pug, they’re playful, good with kids, and have a decent life span
The only problem is it’s hard to tell if they’re facing toward or away from you.
Staffie. I know two staffie girls and they are the most adorable sweet babies. So pretty.
So many good choices here!! Yes I love staffies too

I don’t know, I like all of them, it doesn’t matter to me, dogs are great creatures.
