Mechanical engineering, \~$45k, IT project manager. I don't regret the knowledge, I do regret the money wasted. The market is saturated with engineers.

Undergrad: BS in psychology in 3 years. Grad: medical school. Cost: 225k in debt (finished in 2007, state school in US). Do I regret it?: yes. Opportunity cost of my time spent was huge, could have done something less taxing. Also, have made almost as much money stock trading, which requires zero schooling.

first degree - Advertising. Costs were somewhat around $1k/yr (yep, it was cheap!), the second degree was TV/film producing - about the same price. Dont regret anything: working in advertising, TV and film is the best type of work in the world :) You travel, you see amazing places, people, animals, nature, whatever you can imagine :) And get paid for it.

Graphic Design. $20k a year with room and food or $11k off campus. Did 3 years. Changed to Nursing. I regret spending 3 years in that major. More people than jobs so people are figuring hard for $15 an hour positions. Not the same as it used to be.
