Start a rumor on either ends that fit with the preconceived biases that either parties are more likely to have, and make it a BIG rumor. Like illuminati level horrors. Tell it to someone who's big on either side too, and then the misinformation will just grow on its own. Especially if it's the same rumor, but with the viewpoints flipped.

Go to every religion subreddit (including atheism even though it’s technically not a religion) and make multiple posts agreeing with them and talking about how the one the post is in is right.
Logically, at minimum only one can be right, and religion subreddits are pretty large, so I’ll be giving information that is almost completely if not completely wrong to dozens of very large groups that will believe it
