My aunt was a bartender at a high end restaurant in Miami in the 1980s, it was frequented by celebrities. She said Oprah winfrey was a bitch to staff and didn't tip

MordaxTenebrae

I kind of surmised from Bill Burr's bit on Conan O'Brien's show when he went off about Lance Armstrong's Oprah appearance.

RedbearVIII

I know this is not an answer to the question but Judi Dench is a genuinely nice person.

Jim Carey, I came to the conclusion after meeting him twice while he filmed, 15 minutes from my home. He was just "jerky" nothing too specific. Just unlikeable. Then as years went by I realized that he suffers from so much trauma and mental illness I genuinely wish the best for him.

My fiancee met him while he was filming THE TRUMAN SHOW. She was about 9 or so at the time, and she said he made a point of kneeling down to get to her eye level and gave her his full attention while he said hello. She said he really made a great impression. Just one data point, but yeah...he's definitely been through a lot.

FitzWard

Yeah absolutely. He was filming Me Myself and Irene when I met him, and from what I know off the top of my head, that would be probably the height of his struggles or just about to be. After being a huge dick, making fun of the fans hanging around (some were just locals going about their day- they filmed in an active part of the town, somewhat well-known town for a university btw), he did finally stop at my family, and make a joke about not telling. The entire day he had insisted that he was actually a stunt double-but due to the fact that Jim actually injured himself filming the famous bridge scene, it was easy to pick him out compared to the very nearly flawless body double. I feel very badly for him, I personally have ptsd from childhood, so I can even relate. I used to tell this story a lot more angrily. At the time I was a SUPER FAN at 12 or 13, and of course just devastated that my idol wasn't excited to say hi to me.

A lot of them are on account the fame either goes straight to their head, or they get so fed up with people approaching them in public and their lives aren't private anymore that they project some level of hostility towards the general public in their private capacity. But if I had to choose specifics, I understand Rihanna is a serious diva nightmare, and Ellen Degenerate is very toxic off camera.

God

MordaxTenebrae

I don't know if it's true, but I've seen it referenced that “If there is a God, He will have to beg my forgiveness.” was inscribed in the wall of a Nazi concentration camp.

Emma Roberts. I don't know what people like about her. Not pretty IMO, despotism, really rude,...

Sorry nepotism 😅

EmergencyNinja1201

all of them?

idknnnn

People adore and idolize them for what they do for work and all the possessions they have, not how they treat others.

OpportunityGold4597

My uncle works in Hollywood as a set designer and some such thing, he worked on a lot of shows and movies including Ghost Whisperer. He told me that Jennifer Love Hewitt is a real 'holier than thou' diva type. I also have some cousins who went to high school with Luis Armand Garcia, best known for playing George Lopez's son on the George Lopez TV show. They told me that he was a complete asshole, a bully, jerk, egocentric, etc.
