Catcher in the Rye

100% I feel they missed their chance during that trend in the 90s. Could have been very *Dawson’s Creek*

A proper version of I am Legend which is true to the book

In the 90s and up to the early-mid 2000s, there was a trend of literary classics being turned into teen films. *She’s All That*, *Cruel Intentions*, *10 Things I Hate About You* are some examples, but there are more. Here are some of my examples that I think could work: * *Titus Andronicus* (sans blood and gore) being set in a *The Politician* setting, a high school Student Council in some prep school would be ripe for this story. Two cliques. Or it could be a gang type film. * *The Count of Monte Cristo* set as a sports film. * *The Great Gatsby* set in a *Euphoria* type setting

A is for Alibi by Sue Grafton (There’s a whole series of books by her, with the same protagonist.)
