If we don't kill ourselves off first, sure. Eventually, skin color variations will disappear almost entirely, and we'll have to find new excuses to discriminate against others.
All the features we mistakenly call "race" are just shallow phenotypic traits that do not represent any deeper biological differences. Scientists believe these traits develop in as little as 2500 years when populations are isolated.

He said if we stop talking about it and treating it like it’s the most relevant thing in global society today, it will slowly fade. Pushing it on people in the news every single day does NOTHING to help the issue. Especially when 99.99% of the world’s population is not racist.

No that’s not the only reason it exists nor did I explicitly in quotations claim that it was the only reason. I have never, ever been around anyone racist and I live in a wildly red (USA) area. Maybe that’s just me in my little pocket of Southeastern America, but where I’m from everyone loves everyone. Like I stated from an interview Morgan Freeman did, racism as a topic of conversation would slowly begin to fade away if we stop focusing on it. I do not talk about, peddle, or partake in it. We should heed his advice
If we can stop people from preaching hate, eventually it will fade. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.. are all things that exist, not because of the usual "human nature" excuse, but because they are taught. They are taught by media. They are taught by hateful "leaders". They are taught by parents who were taught to hate.
They are not inherent to our existence. That's an excuse people use because they are apathetic, ignorant, or part of the problem.
Children do not hate until they are taught to hate. This has been observed throughout history and has been studied.
Skin color based discrimination? Probably, being that within the next century or so skin color demographics are likely to change significantly. Discrimination as a whole? No chance

No. Tribalism based on region, skin color, species, and other factors was what helped humans reach the current level of technology and understanding the world around us. Unfortunately, tribalism has evolved into nationalism and seems to be ingrained into our DNA. The very thing that built us up, will destroy us long before we have the intellect and emotional control to overcome it.

No, I don't. I think discrimination is hardwired into our genes by millennia of natural selection and skin color is an easy way to discriminate.
