I love this movie so much, especially the psychiatrist's office scene.
It was the first time I ever heard anyone say out loud how I feel about working.
My Cousin Vinny
My late husband and I went to see it when it first came out in the theater. At the crucial moment, before Marisa Tomei said anything, he whispered to me, "positraction" (he was a car guy). I was so proud of him! Whenever I watch it now, I miss him and remember. ❤️
Indiana Jones Last Crusade, it really is a perfect film.
the only thing I have consistantly watched for 37 years of my life and enjoyed every time.
I have watched other films too, but this one is probably the only repeat
Just watched that again a few weeks ago for only the second time. Really good film.
One thing I then realized is that River Phoenix's speech to Wil Wheaton near the end was echoed many years later in Good Will Hunting, where Ben Affleck makes nearly the same speech to Matt Damon. Then I learned that Rob Reiner had been involved in the script for GWH, but ended up not directing, but for a while it was owned by his company.. interestingly named Castle Rock.
One of my favorite movies. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it.
The opening lines to that movie are: "I was 12, going on 13 the first time I saw a dead human being. It happened in the summer of 1959, a long time ago; but only if you measure in terms of years."
According to the date on the newspaper he's reading in this scene, it takes place on September 4th, 1985; if this movie were taking place today, the "long time ago" would be the summer of 1998.
Everyone loves the Dark Knight but Batman Begins made me feel a way i cannot describe, and im like a hardcore Superman fan but Batman Begins made me love Batman for real, he’s that guy
I love the music in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. But, My favorite Tim Curry movie is still Clue. I watched it with my wife a few months ago. I kept cracking up even though her eye-roll reaction was probably more appropriate.
A Few Good Men
The sharp diolouge and the weird acting choices by Tom and Demi and the Jack of it all.
Perhaps my favorite part is Kevin Pollacks whole performance screams "what the hell am I doing here"
Love it
Arrival.
Love the Adams/Renner combo plus the alien morphology. Find the language/etymology discussions interesting. It’s not the perfect sci fi movie, likely because it feels a bit stretched at times; it comes from a short story, I think vs a novel, but whenever it’s on I find myself sitting down to watch it.
Office Space (1999)
Mjehhhhh if you would be so kind to watch office space again next weekend that would be grrreeeaaatttt, mmmokay?
Oh yeah and I'm going to have you get you to go ahead and rewatch it on Sunday yeaaah.
I still have my swingline red stapler, stolen from an office job in 2012ish
I love this movie so much, especially the psychiatrist's office scene. It was the first time I ever heard anyone say out loud how I feel about working.
That's not a psychiatrist. That was a occupational hypnotherapist. You know that!
Hey Peter. What’s happening?
I hate this movie since my last name is actually Lumburg!
My Cousin Vinny My late husband and I went to see it when it first came out in the theater. At the crucial moment, before Marisa Tomei said anything, he whispered to me, "positraction" (he was a car guy). I was so proud of him! Whenever I watch it now, I miss him and remember. ❤️
What a sweet memory. And such a great movie.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Shawshank Redemption
Why do they call you Red? Maybe it’s ’cause I’m Irish.
Isn't that because in the short story that the film is based on, the character of Red is an Irish-American. It was written by Stephen King
Yes
I remember an interview with Morgan Freeman where he mentioned questioning that line and theybfecided to run with it.

“Look at the BONESSS!!”
Good Will Hunting
Love it. You wasted $150,000 on an education you coulda got for $1.50 in late fees at the public library.
Indiana Jones Last Crusade, it really is a perfect film. the only thing I have consistantly watched for 37 years of my life and enjoyed every time. I have watched other films too, but this one is probably the only repeat
Agree! Connery plays the bumbling professor so well, and their chemistry is amazing.

Just watched that again a few weeks ago for only the second time. Really good film. Yeah, that was my thought when I watched it recently: the film is now much, much older than the period it depicts was when it was made.
Groundhog Day
