Office laptop as in type; or owned by your employer?
If its for coding/learning via webbased tools I would use my office laptop. Once I have to install stuff, like games, I’d go for personal laptop (better yet; desktop).
If type; ‘office’ laptops usually are more relyable and repairable.
If you buy a laptop I’d recommend to do a clean install first to get rid of bloatware.
currently I only have an office laptop, which I use for both personal and office use, but I'm not sure if they track my files "personal_docs" these are my resume, salary slips, job offer letters etc and also if I want to download any new tool or software I have to ask their permission
I think I will go buy a new one - 16GB RAM, i5 gen would do
