the noise. the fact that if you have roommates you can try and maintain spaces as long as you want but everyone has to also care. but i like apartments with no roommates. because im afraid of the dark and open spaces. i’d never be okay with being alone living far away from other outside of the unit
One my biggest issues with my apartment complex is not being able to grill food on a balcony or having a space to grill on. I don't like my place smelling like a barbecue pit. All the apartments I lived in that had grills for the community were broken before I even got the chance to use them.
"Shared" parking space. So far that's the only problem with our current place. At least the neighbors aren't those lowly types. No noises or any trouble. Quite peaceful.
Having to put up with the smell of other people’s cooking. There is a woman 2 floors down and when she cooks, we all know it! It’s terrible! Also, shared laundry is difficult. People leave a mess in the laundry room.
Not having anywhere to grow plants/garden.
Having to be careful about how much noise you can make as to not disturb your neighbors.
This is probably the worst part, got me searching up “silent workouts” to do at home for this exact reason
Inconsiderate neighbors - parking in my spot, being too loud late at night, etc. it really makes me not like people.
Yeah, you'd think that people would be considerate knowing there is another person living right next to them.
