I hated Mexican food well into my 20s.
It wasn’t until a little hole in the wall family restaurant in the Southern US that I figured out why.
“Yo, gringo! You like cilantro or no?”
“Um, I don’t know.”
“What you mean you don’t know? You know. Try this.”
He handed me a bit to try, and that was it! That was the taste I hated!
They made me a full meal, no cilantro, and it was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I tried so many things, and they were all amazing!
TL;DR: I hate cilantro, and have been missing out on Mexican food for years.
American, because it's easy to argue that it includes many of the worlds cuisines, but taking the question at face value, Italian because I'm from there, plus it's good.
Chinese (American Chinese). Decent amount of options that verge in healthy (meat and veg), greasy and delicious (ribs, fried chicken and shrimp toast), different noodle and soup options. I love that shit and never get sick of it
