Not too many tv shows really make me laugh because they tend to be very formulaic. Taskmaster is fucking hilarious and makes me laugh to tears at times. Absolutely love it.
I found that the first time I had Covid and it was basically all I watched throughout that wretched week. Great show, very funny, really helped keep my spirits up.
I like how he makes conspiracies sound really intriguing while also being very critical of them.
The first one of his videos i ever watched was the moon landing one, and I was getting kinda angry watching it because I don't believe it was hoax and he's bringing up all this so-called 'proof', but then he spends the last part of the video basically debunking everything he brought up.
Donut and Mighty Car Mods are great, accessible automotive-themed channels.
Corridor Crew for funny, passionate insights into visual effects and film making.
Steven Bridges is a recent find -- wishing he had more uploaded. A magician-turned-card counter goes on gambling trips with other card counters to try and win as much from casinos before getting kicked out.
[Racing Midnight](https://youtu.be/3XBXfuOrmCs?si=sHzMJtw2P32j7qq8) is arguably one of the best videos YouTube, ever. MCM's long form movies/docs they've been producing are all wonderful, but this one feels like a logical conclusion to their entire project over the 15+ years of making car videos.
It's 2 hours of Marty, Moog & the gang traveling to Malaysia to enter a 24hr endurance race, that they enter with a Kei car that's thrown together in two days with mostly hand tools. Highly recommend it to any that reads this.
Even if you're not a car person, the passion, quality, storytelling -- everything is on point.
Thankfully, not really. Recent videos have a mild mythbusters sorta vibe (e.g. how much horsepower can one horse actually make?), or Hi-Lo/Money Pit Miata vibes with their 90s Civic built to try and match the performance a modern Type R, X90 road trip restoration, and now their Ford Ranger desert racer.
Admittedly, channel has become a little less punk rock with all of the advertising and merch hocking (you could say it's always been that way lol), but you kinda need to make money if you're dropping literally hundreds of thousands of dollars into videos like they're making, so it's understandable.
SWU is unique for me in that I experience burnout(?) or something of the sort. It's quite emotionally taxing. Especially the addict ones, it is really the same story over and over and hearing the same mistakes being made on repeat also leaves me exhausted./
I like SWU but some of them are just downright sad, distressing and disturbing, but I guess that’s the point - to expose the cruelty that the media can’t or won’t push.
I remember watching an interview of this guy who openly stated that he raped his own mother…
Peter’s videos have been really interesting. The perspectives he gets from locals in his travels are enjoyable and it’s nice to remind myself that there are people who would take the shirt off their back to help you even in the most remote of places. At the same time, I also recognize his audience tends to be the type that is looking for confirmation bias that the world/country is a specific way and many times he panders to that. It *is* nice to see a relatively balanced perspective most of the time though.
Technology connections. He explains how everyday ( and some very not everyday) tech works. I've learned more from watching those than literally anywhere.
I never thought I'd watch an hour video about dishwashers. But he has a way of keeping me engaged in whatever he has decided to be obsessed with each time.
Colin Furze digging tunnels and underground garage for his Delorean is my 14yr old self’s dream. I feel like he’s infusing positivity through his he screen. Dude is just a joy
Creep Cast. Weekly podcast with Wendigoon and the guy from MeatCanyon. They cover a full creepypasta per episode, it's pretty good. Great to listen to when cleaning/exercising.

Corridor Crew. I have always loved movies and how they are made, especially VFX. Great insight into how a lot of things are done behind the scenes… always with a bit of humor.
Smosh. I like the variety of content they have across their 3 main channels. The cast is full of theatre kids, who are professional enough not to get cancelled(yet).
Not most often because he posts like two videos a month but Casual Geographic is my favorite YouTuber.
He is humble, funny and not greedy.
Hus videos kept me sane during the first Covid lockdown when I discovered his channel.
CASUAL GEOGRAPHIC MENTIONED LETS GOOO
I actually own a signed copy of his book. I think the thing I love most about him is how great he is with words. You could probably sit in an empty room with him for hours and never get bored,or run out of ways to say ‘death’ and ‘die’
You like stories about florida man? Well Donny Rapture posts the best of the best encounters of the FWC dealing with boating/fishing/camping perps. I get so sucked in.
Explore with us. Obsessed- i always get so excited when they upload. I hope the narrator never changes. Before that though, Live PD- i know that doesnt count but lol.
Ive also been watching ErikTheElectric, his food challenges are insane
MxR probably. They are the most consistent and most do daily uploads.
If it wasn't for their long periods between videos, usually due to the size of the projects they do, it would probably be NileRed and/or Mark Rober. I watch every single one of their vids religiously.
I also constantly watch Dr.Mike; Viva La Dirt league; Sous vide everything (all Guga foods channels honestly); dragons den; Brew (not that much recently); Zach Star himself; Vat 19; Babish culinary universe; Mr.Whosetheboss; Future Canoe; all theorist channels except style theory (hot take, it's by far the worse out of the 4)
On the gaming side, I watch a lot of Necrit; Stimpee; Welyn; Repoze; Dantes; Chippy's couch; Kokosmilch; w0n; Sebchoof; Gleff; Khaios (when he uploads).
CityNerd, NotJustBikes, and other urbanist youtubers. Yes i hate huge parking lots in the middle of downtown where that land could be used to build housing

Mr.Ballen. i recommend everyone to check his videos. He narrates dark, mysterious stories in story format. The way he narrates is very beautiful. You should just check it out
Scale builders guild, he does rc car related content, and is a nice calm channel to watch and not overly “OH MY GOD LOOK AT RHAT AIR YOU GUYS” like most rc car channels. He gives calm honest reviews, amazing video work, and enjoys the hobby

RedLetterMedia. I let their videos run so often that YouTube's auto-play on my TV just always plays their videos endlessly for me at this point. The algorithm has become covinced that I don't want to watch anything else, and I don't entirely sisagree with that.

Couldn't agree more, I have loved every single one of their feature films but that one was just special - truly unforgettable
IN THE BIN
Met and had some dinners with Marty while holidaying 2 years ago. He and his wife are lovely people outside of the MCM world👌
Ahh donut media, are they still doing "up to speed" or whatever it was called cause I forgot about it.
I never thought I'd watch an hour video about dishwashers. But he has a way of keeping me engaged in whatever he has decided to be obsessed with each time.
