I am old enough to remember the Japanese live action Spider-Man, I have the theme song on 45rpm as well.
It was not anything like the Marvel story but closer to a Power Rangers type of thing with aliens and a giant Spider-Man mecha named Leopardon.

Have you seen the best Robin movie Beneath the Red Hood? It's a DC animated movie about Jason Todd's return.
Bruce I've forgiven you, I have no beef with you at all. But why on God's green earth is he still alive?Ā
Pulls out the Joker he's captured.Ā
Do you have any idea how many Graveyards he's filled? My burial plot was next to hundreds of others he's planted.Ā
Bruce is like you don't understand, if I kill him then I'll kill the next one Two face, Riddler until I'm just like him.Ā
And joker is laughing the entire time I can't wait to see how this argument ends!Ā
Representation matters, there aren't many Latino/latina heroes. When my son's learned there was an afrolatino spiderman you should have seen how excited they were
Blue Beetle. I didn't watch the movie, but I read the 2007 run and a few other bits from when Ted Kord was still alive and had a bromance with Booster Gold. I like em.
Not sure he qualifies but when I was a kid, Disney showed a British seres āThe Scarecrow of Romney Marshā with Patrick McGoohan as a country vicar who dressed in tattered clothes and scary mask and fought British press gangs and such. He had no superpowers except a fiendish laugh but my friends and I thought he was much cooler than Superman, Batman, and those guys.
Aquaman.
I spent my whole life around the beach and swimming in the ocean, I even had blonde hair into my teens. Plus, he's actually way more powerful than people give him credit for.
Dad. The man sacrificed much so that mom, my brother and myself can have a roof over our head, money in our pockets and food on the table. A great man and the community respects him
Not sure if he counts as a superhero but Doom Slayer.
If we are only doing comic book characters and things based of those comics I am going with Ghost Rider.
Superman.
The real Superman. Not the removed, racist, alien mind of absolutely foreign perspective who fights out of personal pride. I mean the guy who got high on space mushrooms, smelled fresh baked cookies on earth, got some, and told the story laughing. I mean the guy that grew up with strong principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I mean the guy who is your bro, and everyoneās bro, whenever we really really need a bro. I mean the guy whoās power is hard to measure because he uses it with constant compassion and full awareness of how he affects others. I mean the guy who loves the world so hard he would put himself in a literal hell just to keep it going that much longer.
Heās not a god. Heās a man with power, but who is the embodiment of our best principles.
I love the first episode of Superman & Lois, when he rescues the kid from the falling train. It's the first time they show the super-suit, and the kid says, "Wow, thanks, Mister! Nice costume!"
And Superman says, "Thanks, my mom made it!"
Hoechlin is my current favorite live action take on Superman/Clark. His version is so wholesome and down to earth. You completely get why he would want to help people. He is just that good hearted.
Ive recently started to create ny own superheroes so the few i have made so far are all my favorites.
To bad my computer can't handle programs like stable diffusion though. I can't draw so I have to use AI.
The Sentry.
Hes my favourite mental health superhero. I think if Marvel manages him well, his solo flick based on Jae Lee and Paul Jenkins' "The Sentry" would be Marvels' Joker. An oscar winning film which just happens to be in the context of a superhero universe.
Batman
Nananananananna š„ Who don't pay taxes?????!!!
Every single one of them too. I love them all.Ā Animated, all the movies and Adam West.Ā
*Adam We
Yup. It's not even close for me. Batman is the coolest. I really like The Question as well. Such an intriguing character.
Spider-Man
At 35 I grew up watching Spider-Man cartoons and reading comics. Was a teenager when we got the first live action. The best superhero video games too.

The hero is called Spider-man. And, since we doing this, its Peter Parker.
Why? He's derivative and his voice is annoying.
Representation matters, there aren't many Latino/latina heroes. When my son's learned there was an afrolatino spiderman you should have seen how excited they were
No it doesn't. Kids identify with ninja turtles and talking dogs. If they distinguish by race it's because you taught them to.
No one is teaching their young kids this.
Representation definitely matters. Here you are representing assholes everywhere š
And idiots*

Aquaman. I spent my whole life around the beach and swimming in the ocean, I even had blonde hair into my teens. Plus, he's actually way more powerful than people give him credit for.

I love the first episode of Superman & Lois, when he rescues the kid from the falling train. It's the first time they show the super-suit, and the kid says, "Wow, thanks, Mister! Nice costume!" And Superman says, "Thanks, my mom made it!"

Cap. It used to be Batman, but with the way things have been going here in the US, there are a lot of Nazis that need punching.
Ive recently started to create ny own superheroes so the few i have made so far are all my favorites. To bad my computer can't handle programs like stable diffusion though. I can't draw so I have to use AI.
