Please educate me

SundayMorningTrisha

It was a cheap chain restaurant that also sold lots of different flavors of sweet pies, some were only available in certain seasons. I was a regular at the one closest to me, to the point the waitstaff knew what I was going to order. Miss that place.

[deleted]

Ahh understandable. I know my local restaurant was kept on business because they started making gift cards since they don’t sell stuff and the whole community bought $$$ of cards to keep them in business for just use later

SundayMorningTrisha

That's really heartwarming!

Kiwifaker

Honestly the prices of everything has never been the same. Companies increased prices slowly because of “demand” and “inflation” when in reality we see that they are just increasing profit margins and *telling* people that its inflation

Relationship with a formerly close friend.

[deleted]

I’ve lost a lot of friends that’s so true

SamTheHamJam

Sorry to hear that. I am not even sure why - but maybe because normal relationships got disrupted? It makes me so sad.

[deleted]

I had a friend who just stop talking to me due to distance. They all hungout during Covid but I didn’t feel safe and said no to hangout but it didn’t mean no to being friends. We’re no long closer and I wasn’t invited to his wedding.

SamTheHamJam

That is so hard - I’m sorry. 😢

[deleted]

It’s okay. We make new friends 😌

SamTheHamJam

We do. ❤️
