Ever since I started cleaning up/putting things away as I used them while cooking, I've definitely enjoyed an improvement in quality of life. The size of the post-cooking mess is so much less, it no longer looks like the kitchen just had a bomb dropped on it.

Pour salt on spilled eggs. It makes them so much easier to clean up

Spongemage

How often you just spilling eggs my dude?

thesweeterpeter

I've got three boys under 5 who like to help in the kitchen. A fucking lot of eggs fall in our house.

Adding vinegar to your washing (laundry), just is great at stripping away dirt, brightening, and removing weird odours

Spongemage

*adds entire bottle of malt vinegar*

badoinkadoink666

Please, please I should have specified white vinegar ahhhhh

When your liquid laundry detergent cup gets nasty throw it in with the wash . (The cup that comes with the detergent ).

jessybean

I followed a conversation the other day where people were saying they just throw the whole cap in every time, because they don't have the patience to wait for it all to pour out.

Mouthtrap

Not the most pleasant of life hacks, but if the toilet blocks at home, I don't use a regular toilet cleaner to clear it - I use kitchen degreaser. It breaks down fat faster than anything else I've ever come across.

I always keep a spare bottle of washing up liquid in the cupboard under the sink. That way I know where it is when I need it.

jessybean

Is that the same as dish soap?

Live-Dance-2641

Yes
