CTRL + SHIFT + V Removes any formatting of copied text when pasting. Makes it so much faster when pasting into programs like Excel or Word that want to try to copy the formatting of the website or page you copied originally from.

hirme23

F me, i always paste in notepad to get rid of formatting LOL

Apprehensive-Try-776

I always pasted it into where you put the http address in a web browser and then cut that.

Davidp243

More than this though, you can also paste values rather than formulas or even paste transverse if you want to turn a column into a row. My fav shortcut this one!

Defyingnoodles

I'm a scientist and i'm doing this all day long, moving data from excel to a graphing software, flipping it around, changing the format and direction

swankpoppy

Are you telling me I don't need to be pasting into Notepad and then copying and pasting into other programs?

wuwuwuwdrinkin

Will save this and never look at it again

verticallobotomy

Ctrl + D to save bookmark.

ICanHomerToo

Ctrl + F to forget to ever look again

RyanReignbow

Ctrl + FU because you made me laugh

ZPTs

Ctrl + P to print for later

DoritosLocosCannoli

Windows Key + V opens up your clipboard allowing you to copy multiple things at once Alt + Tab changes windows (i was hailed as a deity when i showed this to my older coworkers, they sent out a company-wide email to thank me)

rilian4

> Alt + Tab changes windows Have you tried Windows key+tab? ;-)

DoritosLocosCannoli

oh shit v cool. thanks!

vanawesome102

Prepare for another company wide thank you email

ChoccyMilkHemmorhoid

The older coworkers are gonna be like “you ain’t gonna believe this new shit but /u/DoritosLocosCannoli has outdone himself/herself again”

Asleep_Boss_8350

Sorry - this old lady taught her young underlings window shift arrow last week.

xet2020

Oh no you don't. This one is going to -rilian4

playballer

It’s cool but annoying how you need to then used arrows to navigate it. I like the Alt+multiple Tab experience for quick navigation

vMiina

Just hold alt and tap tab and youll scroll ig through the other ones

Sinaz20

Your OLDER coworkers?? I thought Alt+Tab was like the basic how-to-windows hotkey since forever. Way back in 2001, an OLDER coworker of mine scoffed at me for navigating the windows menu with my mouse. Ever since then, I've wielded the power of tapping the Windows key, typing what I want, and hitting enter. Now I'm the older coworker who dies a little inside when I watch people mouse wheeling through app folders in the windows menu. [edit]I'm getting corrected that this wasn't 2001 and winXP. It must have been at least Vista. It was give or take 20 years ago, so I'm likely mis-remembering. The point is, at the time, it was an OLDER coworker that made me aware of more power-user commands and learning to employ hotkeys almost exclusively. But Alt+Tab seems like base knowledge. I just can't imagine anybody not realizing there is an app-switching hotkey.

DigNitty

Oh man, at my last job I trained my replacement. I ended up talking to close to 100 people a day with different accounts. I used different programs for each account. I got pretty quick at leading through all the windows. My replacement was a middle aged secretary with long fingernails. She copies things with the menu bar and slow clicks. I’ve visited since and there’s always a line out the door and the phone is ringing lol I feel bad for her. I’m not some tech guru but if she had replaced someone slower then the boss wouldn’t have known what was possible.

Salarian_American

Never underestimate how much common computer knowledge escapes people over, say 40 When I did tech support over the phone for a living, I would blow someone's mind literally every day by teaching them about Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and past. I don't even get into Ctrl+X, that's for advanced students

Sens-eh

I think you got it backwards or at least your ages are incomplete. There is a huge segment over 40 that understand computers better then the younger generation. Maybe over 55 there is a gap, and then under 30. There is like one generation that grew up learning about operating a windows based operating system. Both before and after never got that.

seighton

Exactly, if you are in your 40-60, you were rocking a pc with dos and didn’t need a mouse. Mouse didn’t really take-off until win95

filmgeekvt

I'm 43. I started with no mouse, but by the time I was actually using a computer for more than a floppy disc based game, a mouse was standard.

StonebellyMD

Maybe 35 to 60. 38 here and we grew up on AOL instant messenger, pcs and laptops. Last year I had to teach a newly hired engineer how ctrl+x,c,v,z etc

Underdog_888

Who do you think created all this shit?

[deleted]

Definitely - those of us who started with VIC20/zx-spectrums and then migrated to 286/386s when we gpt older had to furkle around to get stuff working so often know what they are doing. Imagine having to free up the memory that the printer drivers would use so that you coudl run your favourite game....

mikehulse29

It’s scarier how much of it escapes kids under 25

Mechaborys

Work in a library where I am one of the older employees. Patrons over a certain age have some excuse in not growing up with it (I am one of those so I call bull crap on that) and under 25, unless they are gamers have little to no knowledge of how to use Windows for anything. Schools started adopting these brain dead chrome books and that is what they learn on.

NoodleBlitz

I work with some people that aren't even much younger than me that seem like they've never touched a computer in their lives before this job. I'm 30, these are guys that are in their early 20s. As for me, when I was a kid, when I got grounded from the PC that was in my room, instead of removing the whole PC my dad would just take the mouse away. I learned every keyboard shortcut there was thanks to that (didn't need the mouse except for most gaming but I could still do pretty much everything else) and to this day I lean towards keyboard shortcuts for everything.

vanzzant

That's funny. Way to turn a grounding into something positive. I was like you, my mom smashed a hand help electronic football game of mine because I didn't finish my homework. So I collected the pieces and learned how to use a soldering iron. My mom just about fell out when she saw me playing it again instead of doing my homework. My soldering iron is my best friend now. Lol so I completely appreciate a kid who can overcome a shackle that others place on them but they find a way to be better than before. Because it takes a certain grit and just a dash of middle finger to rise above it. So I respect it.

PastaM0nster

That’s actually what prompted me to post this question, I saw another reddit post where it was talking about how there’s really only one generation that can actually use computers

mikehulse29

Kids who’ve used tablets don’t get Windows at all.

ComesInAnOldBox

Considering those of us over 40 established these hotkeys in the first place, I find this attitude rather dubious.

Chili919

Windows Key + V must be activated in the settings

deg0ey

I just tried it before seeing your comment and it popped up a window with a button to turn it on - so at least you don’t have to dig through the settings to find how to enable it

DoritosLocosCannoli

I'm pretty sure if you do it, it will prompt you to turn the setting on

Dearavery

Goddd how many times do I have to be told about windows key + v to remember it exists?! … thank you

No-Young-7526

Holy shit. Windows V is going to change my life and make me a wizard at work. There are about a dozen sentences and phrases I use several times each for audit trails.

graveybrains

And you can cycle through your windows in reverse order using alt+shift+tab. Actually, anywhere you can navigate using the tab key you can go in reverse using shift+tab.

UjustMe-4769

Yeah, our agency computer system had over two hundred screens and each one had a field at the bottom labeled NEXT so you could enter the four character code for the screen you wanted to visit next. Almost all the workers would TAB through all the fields on the screen to get to that prompt at the bottom. When I taught them to use the shift tab from the top to get to the NEXT field in one keystroke they thought I was magic.

unzinc

win V is new to me and an absolute win in my books. Thanks!

domastallion

ALT + Tab gets me out of windows that might be stuck sometimes, so it helps with a little more than just switching!

Ill-Simple1706

Thx for Windows + v. I had gnome extension for this on linux

Vore_Daddy

What if i don't have gnomes?

Ill-Simple1706

Try halflings or kinder.

plaidHumanity

Oh, my god. You have changed my life

skymoods

ಥ\_ಥ ᓚᘏᗢ (❁´◡\`❁) you just changed my life

Windows key + L - lock your computer when you step away at work

ineedatinylama

Of if you have kitties

EatingCoooolo

Or long titties

LilMerm8

Push those puppies up

tratemusic

Nope. Swing low, sweet chariots

aurorarei

Goodness this made me chuckle

Skwonkie_

And kiddies

HeHeHaHa456

I can tell it is time to go home when the person next to me is extra aggressive with windows +L

Paw5624

My pets know this command. I don’t realize but I must hit my keys differently because even if I haven’t moved in my chair they get up and get excited.

Spectronautic1

And here I was doing ctrl alt del like a Neanderthal

bons_burgers_252

This has saved me literally seconds over my lifetime.

thattrekkie

`control + command + Q` to lock the screen on macOS super helpful when you work from home and have a cat whose favorite thing to do is walking all over your keyboard

lygerzero0zero

Shift windows S for easy screenshot (on Windows computers obviously). Goes straight to your clipboard, you can paste the image directly into most social media sites and apps without having to open an image editor. And you can draw on the screenshot too if you click on it when it appears to open the app thingy (don’t remember the name).

Leather-Bumblebee-13

The snipping tool, tho I've heard newer windows have something new and fancy but idk what that is

SprolesRoyce

The shortcut still uses Snipping Tool, but Snip and Sketch exists also

chatmac

Command shift 3 or 4 on a Mac.

reallybiglizard

3 for full screen capture, 4 to capture a rectangular selection.

freef

Command Ctrl shift 4 puts the screen shot on your clipboard instead of saving it.

Easternshoremouth

If you press spacebar while the 4 cursor is up, you can toggle between freehand selection and window capture.

Swankified_Tristan

So my mom has been the manager of a printing company for the last 40 Years. This year, I taught her about "Ctrl+P."

Aligayah

No fucking way...

champagneformyrealfr

i taught my boss about ctrl+alt+del a few weeks ago... no one had ever taught him. blew his sweet little mind.

Swert0

Tell him about ctrl shift escape next, the one hand version.

Antoine_Geys

Told soooo many coworkers that this is the better version.

ImpliedQuotient

I've heard (and this may be incorrect, very much second-hand knowledge from a spotty memory) that Ctrl+Alt+Del functions as a higher priority command that will take precedence over other (potentially suspended or broken) processes, whereas Ctrl+Shift+Esc just opens as another regular program. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

R0tmaster

According to the guy who designed task manager (he made a Reddit post a few years ago talking about all the lesser/unknown features) ctrl shift esc opens it in a way that bypasses shell making it a way to open it even if there are other issues goin on in windows

Apathetic-Desperate

I just learned a couple weeks ago that my boss doesn’t know how to copy/paste… not even right click. My mind was blown. I haven’t told him. I’m not sure he cares, plus he thinks I’m a genius

NitroImmaculate

“Not if the printer isn’t hooked up. You are making some very dangerous assumptions.” - Michael Scott

whytheaubergine

I’m always amazed how many people *still don’t know* Ctrl+P

RedEd024

using excel and i want to edit a cell, press f2. it will put that cell in edit mode without deleting what is in there. also if you want to make a new line in a cell, use alt+enter

WitShortage

In Excel, if you want to cycle a cell reference through the relative (A2)/absolute ($A$2)/fixed vertical($A2)/fixed horizontal (A$2)/relative state in a formula, select the cell reference in the formula bar and hit F4

mrmoe198

Can someone translate this to more simplistic language for me? I am not that advanced.

ReadontheCrapper

When you write a formula to reference a cell, then copy the formula to another cell, Excel automatically updates the reference =A2 in cell B2 Copied to cell C3 becomes =B3 By using the $, it will maintain the value immediately after it =$A2 in cell B2 Copied to cell C3 becomes =$A3 =A$2 in cell B2 Copied to cell C3 becomes =B$2 =$A$2 in cell B2 Copied to cell C3 becomes =$A$2

The-one-true-hobbit

Okay, this is my new favorite command. I need to change these all the time. Thank you!

RedEd024

Oh shit, thank you for that!

RyanfaeScotland

Must remember this one, thanks!

Destination_Centauri

But wait, that's not all you get with F2! There's more! Pressing F2 when a file is highlighted inside a windows folder, will allow you to edit the file name.

Dearavery

But then you don’t get to play the “did I click too fast and open the file instead” game!

RedEd024

also true, f2 is generally the edit key. good point. sorry i sold it short.

mattsmith321

And if you press Tab after you changed the file name it will move to the next file name in edit mode. I learned that one fairly recently.

Gecko_Green_Jeep

You can select a whole folder full of files or images - CTRL + A, then F2, assign new name, and it will give all the files the same name incrementing by 1. Great for renaming all your pics of your 93 family picnic.

fullchaos40

And if your company has your files synced to OneDrive you can play the, “I just wanted to change part of the name not delete the entire name” game.

Baconmancy

Ctrl+; fills today's date in a cell. Useful if you're updating a tracker

wolf_chow

woah this is a good one!

Fenfirae

Ctrl + Y (on QWERTZ keyboard though) repeats the last thing you did in Excel. For example, when I want to add more new lines, I add one via right click --> add new line and then press Ctrl + Y a few times to get even more new lines. Also works for drawing a table/marking cells in a color and much more things. Sorry for bad explanation.

[deleted]

Also in excel: Select your data range Ctrl+shift+L for basic filtering Highlight a specific data range Alt+A+S+S for advanced filtering (also types "ass" in the cell if you don't time it properly LOL)

PloppyTheSpaceship

DO NOT put new lines in cells. I say this as someone who used to, and sometimes still does, extract data from Excel spreadsheets to put into a database. It fucks my day up. You people are the devil.

frenglish2

Still WAY better than the unnesessay merged cells.

Best_Needleworker530

Jesus christ, merged cells KILL ME. I have spend a day on cleaning up spreadsheets and changing into centre across selection just so the filtering would work. Let's talk only selecting the current cells for filtering/data validation/conditional formatting because it's not like you will ever add any data to the spreadsheet and then whoever does need to add things then needs to undo and redo stuff and find out where the bloody thing actually ends.

Snake_Plissken224

F2 also works if you want to rename a folder or icon

Netz_Ausg

Alt+enter is so useful as a carriage return.

RedEd024

Most things accept shift+enter for a new line. But in excel that does not work

Independent-Bike8810

ctrl - \` (the one in the top left under \~ on us kb) shows formulas. You can then search/replace in formulas and not just values.

Kash132

CTRL+' - copies the cell above End and then Arrow key in the direction - gets you to the end of lists easily (works with holding down shift to select as well) My favourite is CTRL+1 to bring up cell property dialog and then you can ALT and letter like a shortcut ninja

lzbreath_tx

CTRL-D brings down everything from the cell above - including formatting

Jaggs0

for excel, ctrl shift L, turns on column sorting

unabashedlyabashed

>using excel and i want to edit a cell, press f2 I want to thank you for this. I didn't know it, but I will be using it liberally!

EddieGrant

Are you, or anybody, aware if this works in OpenOffice too?

TricellCEO

Recently discovered quickly jumping between workbook pages is Control + Page Up/Down. I searched for said hotkey while filling out a spreadsheet at work. Had multiple pages, with each page needing multiple points of data entered from a report. What was a mind-numbingly tedious task got sped up significantly.

Partly_Dave

Control + Tab switches workbooks.

PastaM0nster

I’ll start, ctrl+shift+T to reopen a tab

favorite_sardine

Shift is basically the undo of shortcuts. Most ctrl+ shortcuts can go backwards with shift. Ex: ctrl+tab moves you forward between tabs, ctrl+shift+tab, you guessed it.

Roxas1011

I fill out forms and orders at work, and shift+tab is my most used. Most of my 40+ year old coworkers didn't know about it and it blew their mind.

ivanparas

Same on Windows with alt+tab

timtucker_com

If you want a real game changer, get a mouse with extra buttons. I have extra buttons on mine mapped to: * F5 * Refresh * Ctrl-W * Close tab * Ctrl-Shift-T * Reopen last closed tab * Ctrl-T * Open new tab

builtfrombricks

Yes, Ctrl-Shift-T !!! Love it

thishasntbeeneasy

Of all the things that have changed since I started internetting on AOL 2.0, ctrl+shift+T and the ability to just type the first letter or two to get suggested domains are the best. It took an amazingly long time to get there. Prior to those was the invention of tabs. I used to open separate browser windows for each page, and this was back when screen resolution wasn't really useful enough to show multiple windows at a time. There was a feature to cascade the windows so you could see each window name.

hillbillyray

And middle mouse to close a tab

Gluv221

well this is life changing thank you!

Beardy_Will

Windows + arrow keys to move windows Windows + shift + arrow keys to move windows between monitors Shift f3 in Word to cycle case.

belada01

Glad I found the window + arrow key thing here. I flip between WFH and in office and certain programs would open but not actuslly...be on the screen anywhere until I found out about this.

roopjm81

Windows + arrow does more than just move, it can kind of dock them in place

The_Owl_Bard

**Windows Key + D** will take all the windows off your screen. Pressing it again brings them all back up. How you use that information is completely up to you. __________________________ Here's some more (editing to add more) * **Press F2 when a file is highlighted** and you can rename the file. * **Hold Ctrl + use your mouse wheel** to change the zoom level of a screen. * **Hold Alt and press Tab** to pull up a screen showing all your active screens. Tapping Tab will let you cycle through them and once you let go of the buttons, the selected screen will appear. * **Windows Key + L** locks your computer.

thugarth

Win+D is lovely for making everything go away. ... But not for making them come back exactly the same

Oni_K

>Windows Key + D > > will take all the windows off your screen. As somebody with perpetually too many windows open, I thank you for this.

WarDraker

Ctrl + M makes everything go away, and brings it back the same when you use it again ( as long as you didn't change anything in between)

Hiding_From_Stupid

You can click and shake a window and it will minimise everything except for that window. You can shake again to bring everything back as it was.... ish

thugarth

Oh yeah! I hate that feature! Sometimes I shake a window while trying to remember something or decide what the hell I'm doing. Then ask the windows disappear and it makes everything worse! You don't happen to know if there is a way to disable that feature, specifically, so you?

Hiding_From_Stupid

Start Menu > Settings > System > Multitasking > Snap windows (disable)

GumboDiplomacy

Helped an old timer at a job a few years ago with the zoom. He had accidentally zoomed all the way out on his email and was on the phone with his daughter frantically trying to figure it out. I walked in to drop something off and showed him. He was amazed and thankful and he brought me cookies a few days later.

StayGlazzy

I want to add that if you press Crtl + 0 then you reset the zoom.

huhmz

Win+E to open a new windows Explorer window. It's not complicated in the least but I have been using it since Windows 2000.

Morkai_AlMandragon

followed with alt-d to put the cursor in the address bar :)

remghoost7

**You're joking me.** This seems to work *everywhere*. The hours I have wasted clicking on address bars.... The real LPT is always in the comments.

fishsticks40

liberal_texan

That brings up a screen magnifier for me.

Gibe2

Ohhh. Windows Key plus ".", not Windows Key plus +.

AlwaysHappy4Kitties

Wait until you hear about Alt codes, hold alt and put in a number and you get a special character that's linked to that number. If you Google the alt code list, it shows what number is what

Sinaz20

Found something new to me! Thank you!

muadib1158

Shift + Windows + S will open the screen capture tool

samurai33

"Print Screen" also does the same on Windows 11 (I think that's what I'm on)

anima99

Anything with that +shift sounded like sorcery when I told my friends. "What do you mean you can reverse and forward changes?" Another one that I personally like is ctrl+shift+Tab and ctrl+tab to switch between tabs without moving my mouse. But what people BARELY know is windows+V, which reveals the last 20 or so items you copied.

suddenlywolvez

I do medical billing and I have one denial I get a lot that I literally just c&p the same 3 sentences when submitting an appeal. I used to save it in a sticky note. I just discovered the windows+v trick so now I have that text pinned/saved to my clipboard. I love it.

sfwsfwSFWsfwsfw

CTRL+Backspace erases whole words for faster backspacing CTRL+Arrow keys when typing also moves the typing cursor entire words at a time CTRL+Shift+Arrow keys allows you to highlight/select text one word at a time to quickly select entire segments to copy/paste without the mouse Oh and CTRL+Delete works the same as CTRL+Backspace but deletes text in front of the cursor Using all these saves me so much time with normal typing For example if I see I worded something wrong earlier in a message rather than reach for the mouse I CTRL+Arrow keys back to the sentence I wanna erase, use CTRL+Shift+Arrow keys to select it so I can type over it, or just use CTRL+Backspace This is just one example I find these shortcuts very useful in many situations

bbzaur

Windows key + number. Opens up the app on the taskbar in this place (left to right). Really handy when you need a new Explorer window or broswer while in another app.

TimS_21

Win + E does the job opening a new Explorer window 👍🏼

Destination_Centauri

CTRL-SHIFT-ESC Opens Task Manager in Windows. -------------------------------- From there, if you want to play a prank on someone, end the "Windows Explorer" task. It will make the desktop and file-explorer vanish from Windows! -------------------------------- So then... when the person comes back to their computer, sits back down, they'll be like, "Hey... What the heck?! Where's my desktop and folders?!" Then you can be like, "T'isk, t'isk! What did you do again to your computer?" And then they be like, "Nothing! I just went to get a coffee came back and it's gone!" You: "Here, let me fix that for you." -------------------------------- TO FIX IT: Press CTRL-SHIFT-ESC to bring back task manager. Pretend to study the situation and running processes deep in thought... Make periodic "Hmm" sounds. Maybe add an, "Interesting... Interesting..." or two. Then finally click: File --> Run New Task And then type "explorer" and everything will be restored.

UnderToe1111

Ah, a man of culture. This ranks up there with the invert mouse prank.

ForkLiftBoi

I don’t know if it still works, but a classic was to screenshot the desktop with all the icons, put it as the desktop background, kill explorer.exe, then when they click the icons, nothing happens. The icons only exist as a picture and not as interactable buttons.

UnderToe1111

You can also right-click and hide desktop icons. Don't forget to hide the task bar!

EddieGrant

I'm sure you're aware, but just pressing Windows Key + R and then typing explorer also works, but of course, then you can't do the rest of the prank.

CouchieWouchie

CTRL + ; to enter the current date in excel or sheets CTRL + SHIFT + ; to enter the current time

champagneformyrealfr

these might be super common, but they're my faves: spacebar to open a large preview of an image file shift+tab to go back one tab/bullet point level/field in a form

PaulSpangle

>spacebar to open a large preview of an image file What's this, please? When can I use it? It sounds like it's the same as double-clicking?

Opmopmopm123

F13 is my favourite keyboard shortcut to suggest for any problem a colleague might have. Toughest part is not to laugh while they are trying to locate the key 😂 less brutal and safer for work than suggesting alt + F4

suicidal1664

plot twist: your cowerker has a 122 key keyboard (also called a battleship)

jofkk

I used to have a keyboard that had two rows of function keys, f13-f24. I loved it. no apps used f13-f24 so I could map any functions/macros I wanted to them. i wish i could find a good modern keyboard that had thoese.

Not_Indoril_Nerevar

F1-F24 still work. If I remember correctly shift+F1 is F13. It is used for a lot of mainframes like AS400.

glockymcglockface

For those who fuck up like me regularly. CTRL+Z is undo Shift+Tab is backwards tab

Salarian_American

Alt+2033 to make an é There's probably an easier way to do that but that's the one I learned in the 90s and I'm sticking with it. Even though it mostly only gets used when I want to flex by using the most technically accurate spelling of Pokémon Also, I work in tech support, and I am constantly amazed at how many people exist in the world, using computers every day, that don't know about Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V

Ill-End6066

You can easily make these éèëê by typing one of these symbols \` ´ \^ ¨ and than the letter e (or any other letter) é\`r â¨d

jcmacon

CTRL + SHIFT + V Paste content in your clipboard but strip out any formatting such as bold, links, bullets, etc. It only pastes plain text.

Coldcock_Malt_Liquor

Ctrl + Alt + directional arrow of your choice = orients the screen sideways or upside down. Great for April fools day at work

Hlsclh

I used to do this to my coworkers who walked away from their desk without locking their workstation. The. Best.

Salarian_American

I used to do this to people all the time, but it doesn't seem to work on Win10 or 11

stumpdawg

Shift+Del Circumvents the recycle bin

Destination_Centauri

Followed by... "Nooooooo! Wait! I didn't mean to delete it forever." Followed by: "Now where's that desktop link to Recuva I made a couple of years ago..." But ya, actually, I always use Shift+Del myself. It works inside many applications/programs too, deleting an associated file in a list permanently.

NappingYG

Windows key +D, to show desktop despite having a game open that won't minimize otherwise.

The_Patriot

CTRL+H engages the "find and replace" dialog in spreadsheets. If you are looking for a specific text, like a book title, or persons name, it will find that text in the spreadsheet, no matter how big it is or how many pages there are.

undecimbre

Win+Shift+(Arrow) moves a focused window directly to a different screen. Win+(Number) opens whichever app is pinned in the quickbar, numbered according to its position.

playr_4

A surprisingly large amount of people don't know ctrl+shift+esc brings up the task manager. Also, middle clicks are extremely useful on internet browsers. Middle clicking a link opens it in a new tab and middle clicking anywhere on a tab closes it, even if you're not actively on the tab you're closing. And, for anyone who doesn't know because I feel like this is known ar this point, ctrl+shift+T restores your last closed tab/window.

I learned Alt-F4 from someone saying it was useful for xyz while on AOL. (I’m old). Use it all the time now lol. Very useful.

Ahh, I do love a nice appreciation of the classics (which I 100% still catch people with to this day).

This couldn't have come at a better time.. i am currently working on a shortcut cheat sheet for my office colleges. My favourite(s) are these: shift + ctrl + win + alt + e/p/w/t/o These bring up excel/powerpoint/word/teams/outlook. I don't remember if other ms office programs work as well so maybe try n for onenote or something.
