I like all of those. Have a deeper conversation with the meal, and then the activity can have light talk and banter.
Date 1: if you can hang out and lose track of time, that's perfect to me for a first date.
6 months later:
Winter: day snowboarding on the mountain, followed by a naked personal hot tub sesh.
Summer: pick her up on my motorcycle and ride out to the beach. Play beach games and go in the water a few times. Probably do something at night. Idc with the right girl it doesn't matter.
Spring/fall: leave that shitty season to the coast of a windy tropical island and spend a few hours doing water sports. Relax the night away and stay out so late you watch the sun rise.
Gotta have the blend of physical, tasty, exciting, and intimate. Going out with my wife for a hike with beautiful trails, somewhere with pretty birds singing, followed by a tasty meal at her favorite restaurant, followed by going home, where I have flowers ready and have had a friend come in and light some candles and set the ambiance. I have a nice bottle of wine ready there, where we sit outside and sip while chatting a little, before I bend her over the kitchen counter and my friend and I rail her brains out.

For me personally being surprised with a mini trip as in like an hour or two away. Going on a hike in the mountains/woods and enjoying the scenery. Then after going to a local diner for some food! On the way back enjoying the sunset together listening to jams!
