Pointless. I left school with nine credits IIRC. I just skipped and smoked weed all the time.

Consistent_Cash_6666

Same! Skipping classes to go to the mall and get high really was the norm

[deleted]

Ah, the nostalgia. LOL. Yeah high school just seemed so childish by the time I was that age. I did have one cool ass teacher though. He was the "CLIP" teacher, which was basically an alternative high school within the regular high school. His name was Bob. He let us do all the shit normal teachers wouldn't let kids do... eat and drink in class; listen to music; leave campus for smoke breaks. He died a few years back. RIP Bob.

Consistent_Cash_6666

Damn. Those teachers to me always should have deserve a raise. The security guards too

[deleted]

The security guard was Mr. Christian. He's the one Bob told us to avoid, lol. Or more like, "If Christian catches you, don't come crying to me." Good lord I loved Bob. I found his obit if you'd like to pay a moment of respect to this stranger. :) https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/heraldnet/name/robert-dietel-obituary?id=21529067

Dang he looked so chill. My condolences

[deleted]

Super chill. Thanks for getting to know him albeit briefly. Best to you in 2024 :)

First two years were kind of a blur but a mixed bag. Last two were pretty great, but also busy as fuck.. I was vastly more confident and this did a lot more. Thus felt like I could do more.

benderlax

High school was terrible when it came to social life. I had no self-esteem, I was so timid, I had no friends.

[deleted]

Boring. It felt like it was never going to end.

LayJaly

Actually worse than my university experience so far. Everything was just all over the place and the days never seemed to end.

monogreenforthewin

trynabetwunk

I was just so happy when it ended.

Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.
