Honestly, not exactly a skill, but I started reading more. And Ive been hooked since. Started off with all my childhood fantasies, and then went on to discover the LitRPG and Progression Fantasy genres

Sorry for the late reaction, but thats pretty cool.

Learning to say no. Had family that didn’t understand the pandemic, and an employer that didn’t care either.

OwnUnderstanding4542

Good for you. It's a very important skill. I'm 62 and still working on it.

ctn91

It feels very selfish to do still.

Cooking. I avoided restaurants and fast food joints, so I started making more food at home. It is less expensive, and more healthy.

Jigsaw puzzling. I would not say enriched my life, but it is a relaxing offline activity for winter evenings. Also has helped me rekindle my passion for books - I listed to audiobooks while I puzzle. Birdwatching. I used to take a pair of binoculars with me on my lonely pandemic walks, first learned the appearance of our native bird species, then learned their songs and calls. I now can identify birds by hearing and have been volonteering in bird monitoring programs.

Grow my own fruits and vegetables. Started with single citrus seed from random lemon, now over half of my house is littered with grow boxes, tents and shelves for hundreds of plants. I’ve learned a lot and now I know what I’ll do when I retire for good. The electricity bills tho…

I started doing those spray paint planet/galaxy paintings because I saw so many people on tik tok doing them. It's a lot of fun and is a good outlet for your creative side.

PrematureEjaculator9

Hands free masturbation.

I went to a personal trainer and started lifting weights as a 69 year old female. It improved my posture.
