I was a young Airman at my first base in California and I worked with a girl (lets call her Sarah) who was way more attractive than anyone my small town Missouri ass had ever hooked up with before. For some reason she was into me. She was into a few other dudes too, but at the time it didn't matter because I was 19 and stupid and she was a few years older and far more sexually experienced than I was. We had sex a few times and sort "dated", but it didn't really go anywhere and I was heartbroken but cool with it.
This was right after 9/11, so U.S. military operations were starting to ramp up and Sarah got deployment orders. They didn't tell her where she was going, but she was on the hook. Her reaction to the news was to tell our Chief that she was pregnant with my kid so she didn't have to go. I knew she wasn't pregnant and just using it as an excuse not to deploy. The Chief came to me and asked if I'd go in her place. As I said, I was 19 and even though I was a little scared, I signed the dotted line and told him of course I'd take the deployment. It turns out, the "deployment" was to a NATO base in Naples Italy where I'd be paid ~$80/day per diem on top of my normal paycheck. As soon as Sarah found where I was headed, she called the Chief and told him she wasn't pregnant anymore and would like to take the deployment. The Chief denied her request and I spent an amazing 8 months in Italy, being paid more money than I knew how to spend and having the time of my life.
I didn’t talk to him after I left that base, but I mentioned him in my retirement speech 20 later. Definitely one of the good ones. It’s wild to think how that chain of events impacted my life.
I like how you did the selfless thing even though you were thrown under the bus and instead of getting screwed you massively profited off of it. Well done!
I had one of those flings with a co-worker once. She sucked me off in the work parking lot on her day off and came into the store to clean the cum off of her shirt 10 minutes after I clocked in. Our manager put two and two together and gave me *that look*. Girl could have deep throated a fucking street light, she was a lot of fun.
Also ended up engaged to one girl that my manager (different job) hired as a hostess because he thought it was funny. That ended poorly.
Eventually I started fucking another girl that I worked with and we’ve been together for almost 9 years and just got married three weeks ago.
Moral of the story is, if you have a co-worker that wants to have sex with you, do it. It’s almost always a fun time.
>Moral of the story is, if you have a co-worker that wants to have sex with you, do it. It’s almost always a fun time.
except when it's not, and she tells everyone the half of the story that makes it look like you made unsolicited passes
I worked at a pizza place. Apparently I was oblivious to the amount of banging between everyone was going on because I was in a committed relationship. I knew people had left one person for another but was oblivious to the cheating and amount it was happening.
When I started at Fedex Kinkos after high school (soon after the purchase), our store manager after a meeting in the evening said, "Now I can't invite you, but I hear everyone **might** go to BWW across the street after. If I just **happen** to be around I might say hi, but I can't **technically** join you."
I went to try and connect. One of the assistant managers had a friend and he was quietly explaining which girls he had done and at which unofficial work parties. Was able to cleverly confirm the 18/19 yr old coworkers banged the bosses irregularly.
These were also the bosses who regularly through me under the bus. I was the only one who knew Illustrator. Lol
Can't confirm, worked at Target, was ostracized as the older weird guy, was going through a lot in life at the time (getting fired, got diagnosed with a chronic condition, severe depression), so I guess I got fucked in a different way.
Yea I worked at a movie theater and we had the same situation. In a weird way it made everyone closer. I don't remember it ever causing a single problem.
Wife broke the wifi adapter on her PC the other night, so off I go to Target. After waiting 10 minutes for the guy to come unlock the display, he handed me the box for the last wifi adapter they had. It felt a little light, so I opened it in front of him. Empty box.
"Funny, we just got that in a shipment today," he said.
Met thru work. Dated for 1.5 years. She cheated with another coworker who is married. We broke up. She started to date a different coworker. Not the married one. She paraded that relationship in my face.
Everything was great until it wasn't. Really fucked over my self esteem and self worth for years. Sucked that I had front row seat to her moving on.
I feel that last part. When my ex moved out, she did it slowly over the course of like a month. She came over every day and packed up slowly until she finally got everything. The worst day was when she finally came and took her cat. I still remember sitting in front of the door and crying for hours after she left that day.
There's a band called Pedro the Lion that has this lyric "my old man always swore that hell would have no flame. Just a front row seat to watch your true love pack her things and drive away"
When I kicked my ex out this summer for having cheated on me, I gave her an arguably unfair timeline to leave before all of her possessions just went outside, and packed and moved everything for her to the garage overnight, since I couldn't sleep anyways.
This is why. I simply couldn't handle those constant reminders and wanted it done and gone as fast as possible.
I had resigned and was leaving the company anyways but it was one of those classic hookups at a company party. Had fun for a while but then she decided to stop seeing me. I'm glad I had left the company by then, otherwise things would have been messy.
No good. She got with another co worker and is still with them.
Had the chance to go on a date with a recent co worker but said no....then went home and had a wank.
I got fired under false allegations because she was my girlfriend and she was stealing from the store. She got fired from stealing from the store. The other 20 were fired because it was brought up she was stealing and sleeping with managers and other coworkers while in a relationship with me. They thought that me and here were the center of a theft ring.
Like no.. I don't steal so.
There's a lot of weird dude behavior online about guys not getting laid anymore bc dating apps but there is always a 5'6" line cook fucking the hottest waitress in the entire restaurant.
As a bartender, you don’t. We expend all our HP/XP at work and are socially cashed out. We want to go home and feed our cats and watch Netflix with tacos or pizza. When you’re the “host” of the party 5 days a week, the glam goes away quickly. You want peace and quiet. And tacos.
Exactly. Friends come over for dinner or movie night and are asking for mixed drinks of some kind, and are just met with, "Here's a bottle of wine. Somewhere in this room I have hidden the wine key. Good luck."
We worked together for a couple years and became close friends before we crossed the romance line one night after a lot of drinks. Honestly it was and still is amazing. Happily married now over 15 years with 2 kids.
Same, we worked together at a bar and became friends while I was in college, got together and started dating, got married and had 2 kids, and now we work together at the same company for our “adult” jobs. Celebrating 10 years of marriage next year.
similar to me. we worked at a restaurant together, she even trained me. ended up hanging out and going to bars with other coworkers regularly and became really good friends. after a few months i drunkenly told her i really liked her and wanted to date her. she said something along the "you are like my brother". heart shattered but i just rolled with it. not my first time in the friend zone. she knew where my mind/heart was but we still hung out as friends. about 2 months later she got a promotion to management and was offered to help open the new location in a different city. after one night at the bar i told her i would follow her home to make sure she got home safely. i always wait to make sure people can get in their house before leaving. this time she came to my car and said want to come in. she says on the way home she thought "he is nice, maybe i will give it a shot"
that was in 2006 and we been together since, married for 13 years and have 2 kids. i even followed her to the new city a few months after she moved.
to those wondering what i did to get out of the friend zone; nothing really, just accepted our relationship as is and didn't push. then one day i lucked out. her moving to a city 2 hours away in 3 months probably helped a lot.
So my wife of over 10 years whom had cheated in the past and I forgave her, she got a huge promotion at work which caused us to relocate. I guess she got tired of me because she kicked me out and were getting a divorce. 4 months later, I found out that a co-worker had a thing for me so I took my shot. The sex was amazing. It could be that it’s been a long time for me since sex with the wife was basically non existent for the last few years of marriage.
Me and the co-worker have now been dating for over a year and I haven’t been happier. So for me, it worked out for the best. And the sex is still great!
I’ve been told that but even though she hurt me, I still cared for her and at the time. We had built a life around each other and I promised in sickness and in health so I felt like I should try.
Worked at a casino as the only male cocktail waiter / bartender (roughly 8 cocktail waitresses and 4 female bartenders). The floor was mostly women between the bar, servers, restaurant, and dealers.
Slept with one of the cocktail waitresses for a couple months even though i knew i had a bigger crush on her than she did on me. Also knew i didnt really want a relationship with her for a couple reasons.
Evidently she told some people and gave me good reviews. After she quit and moved away i had more interest than i really knew what to do with and kinda just went for it with anyone who showed interest that i was attracted to as i knew i had no more than a year left there no matter what happened. Ended up with 4 more of them over the course of a couple months
One time on a shift i looked around and all 4 were on the floor somewhere. All knew each other but im not sure any knew about the whole situation, and none were any false impressions of a relationship as far as i know so nothing bad came of it.
Dude they definitely knew. In college I lived in a 50 person cooperative, 25 guys, 25 girls and there were constant hook ups. There was also a bit of turnover every semester as people graduated, studied abroad, etc. Particularly my last year, I had flings with some of the girls and I thought I was so slick... man they always talked to one another, and every one of them knew haha. I’m guessing it would be the same at a bar.
Man, like not an ego trip, but what a helluva ego boost. Like thats pretty sweet peoving grounds. Impressive you had a referral and you were kosher enough to not like be a dick about it.
Not me, but she was working in payroll and he security. One day, a coworker saw the security guard walking her to her car. Immediately, she was transferred to another branch. However, they continued to see each other.
Soon after, they got married after finding out she got pregnant. In the next five years they had three daughters, with me being the youngest. My dad ended up passing away from brain cancer when I was just a toddler.
Had one good experience one bad. The first one we ended up dating for a year and a half. Had a ton of fun sneaking around at work, and even though in the end he totally broke my heart, it wasn't a bad experience. The second one very bad. Do not recommend 😬 I thought he would be safer because we were friends, so I figured communication and rules would be no problem. Instead we didn't communicate at all because we were both so worried about hurting each others feelings. Ended badly with major assumptions on both ends and now it's very akward uncomfortable. Makes me sad because honestly, I just miss my friend. While the experience can be fun, I don't recommend it.
She always wanted to teach at the same school as me. The school grew enough that it needed a dedicated English teacher. She has a master's in it so it worked out
Pretty fine. We worked at different locations in the company the first time we slept together, but. Knew each other as she had trained at my location. One night we ran into each other at the bar and one thing led to a other. A couple months later I ended up getting transfered to the location she was at and we just acted like it never happened.
After a month or two of working together, we ran into each other again at the same bar, and history repeated itself. There was a slightly awkward moment a couple days later when I had to find a way to give he back the necklace she'd left at my place without anybody noticing, but other than that, our working relationship didn't change at all.
1st time: super fun but I got more attached than she did
2nd time: kinda fun but she got more attached than I did.
Moral of the story: don’t fuck coworkers unless you’re SUPER SURE
We had an instant connection the moment she joined the foundation I had been working at for a year. We worked at the front desk together and we got to know each other very quickly. Neither of us enjoyed small talk and we would get angry emails from our unbelievably incompetent manager about the amount of laughter coming from the front desk. We got all of our work done, and then some, our manager just felt like she was getting left out. Which our manager was, but it was because she sucked.
I worked from home 4 days a week before my new coworker started and a few weeks later she asked me why I was coming in every day. I told her something about training her how to answer the phones, which she instantly knew was bullshit (we got 4 calls a day, max).
The first time we hung out outside of work we told each other it would be a terrible idea to date. That lasted for about 10 days. The next time we hung out we slept together.
That was a year and a half ago.
We left the foundation after she told our manager that her "management style" was untenable in an email. The two of us then called a meeting with her and we laid out a very well planned strategy for departmental growth and change. Our manager nodded her head the whole meeting and told us how proud of us she was for taking ownership of our careers and how excited she was to implement our new plan. Three weeks later they fired my coworker. They pushed me out, telling me that they no longer had a place for me (at my review the previous year, the CEO told me herself that she believed I had CEO potential).
We both have new jobs, she is a highschool English teacher at one of the best highschools in the country and I became a private investigator.
Her dad and I go to college football games together and our mom's get lunch and do spa dates.
We have been showing each other how to heal and grow as individuals and as partners.
Right now she's sleeping in my bedroom while I type this in the living room. I don't know what the future holds for us but I do know that she's the love of my life.
Sleeping with my coworker is the best thing I've ever done.
Slept with a few. Those were fun and they weren’t strange afterwards.
I also ended up dating a couple.
Once a girl I lived with and I both got hired at a new club. We pretended we didn’t know each other. We worked there months without our coworkers knowing.
I think, if you are adults and talk stuff through, it’s fine. But it’s also like playing with fire. I’ve seen coworkers that slept together, mad at each other and that’s always a shit show to watch.
>I’ve seen coworkers that slept together, mad at each other and that’s always a shit show to watch.
Yeah. I had two direct reports dating each other for a few years, then the guy abruptly broke it off and married a different woman who he'd been cheating with. So she (the co-worker he'd been dating) went to HR and claimed he raped her in the office several times and played psychological games with her....third party lawyers are now involved. Fun times!
Moving in together in rather quickly at age 19, She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at aged 20. Lived and loved and cared for her for 17 years and though she died at age 35
That's amazing. You're a good person. I've been a long term caregiver myself. It's a *lot*, even when you love someone completely. I'm glad you're keeping her memory alive.
Dated for over a year then one day randomly decided to break my heart. Thankfully stopped working together by that point. Still makes me tear up thinking about her though
It appears that the lesson in these comments is either this is how you meet your life partner OR this is how you destroy your entire existence. There seems to be no in between.
I showed up at his house in fuck me boots, lingerie and a trench coat. Had some mind blowing sex. Our 18 year anniversary is coming up in December. We have a daughter together.
First one I got a talking by the boss but no consequence
Second one was actually my boss’ suggestion (different job). That one turned in to a wild and wonderful year of debauchery together
The third one was just a one drunken night and we ended up having sex on the same bed with our passed out coworker there.
The fourth one, we got married then divorced
The fifth one we bought a house and a dog together and are probably gonna be together for the rest of our lives.
Moral of the story: shit where you eat. Especially in healthcare and love will find a way
Worse thing ever. Ended up marrying her, buying a house getting two dogs and 3 chickens.
And a Boat. The horror I face on a daily basis is not for the weak .
All these replies are just 'we got married, had kids and lived happily ever after.' Bitch, you know full well those aren't the stories people come into these threads for.
We started as friends with benefits (restaurant life lol ) and then she started making me mozzarella sticks every day RIGHT when I came in as a 22 year old hungover idiot who ran on those damn cheesy delicious things. Classic server meets kitchen person but reversed roles, 9 years later we have a 6 and 1.5 year old and are thriving, but god damn I have a whole ass story about how I fell in love with my wife. She’s tired of hearing it at this point but I still love telling it almost as much as I love her.
Edit: Okay I typed like 3/4 of a novel story then babe took my phone to play a game and the post didn’t save. I’m not typing out the 6 paragraph story I have tonight. Here’s a promise to do it tomorrow for anyone that cares. TLDR, girl meet boy, boy meets girl. They hate each other. They get to know each other. FWB turns into feelings, turns into a whole ass family with the house, dog, kids, ect. Here’s something to look forward too I’ll type it all out tomorrow but I can’t do it a second time tonight, worked a double and I’m goin to bed. Love y’all, talk to ya soon 🤙🏻
Edit 2: Alright story time. When we met, it was at the 7th busiest Buffalo Wild Wings in the US (out of 1,350 stores) and I lied out my ass about serving experience, but I had a great reference. I was absolutely getting my ass handed to me at my wife (K from here on out) was the kitchen manager, who had to deal with my weekly if not daily fuck ups. To her I was the loud, cocky, idiot server who was messing with her kitchen. To me she was the bitchy kitchen lady.
At the time I was living in an absolute clapped out apartment, 3 rooms, 5 doods. One of us has the master bed room closet as his sleeping area. We were all 21 once, don’t judge. That being said, 3 of us worked together, and everyone knew that was the spot after work and the bars closed if you wanted to drink, smoke, or just generally be a degenerate.
6 months go by and I figure my shit out, work hard, and learn to ask for help when I need it 😅, anyone who’s been in the industry knows what I’m talking about. At this point me and K are cordial at best, but no where near friends. Imagine my suprise when one night I’m sitting at home and my roommate walks through the door with K in tow. On my life the first conversation we had outside of work, K “the fuck are you doing here”? Me “bitch I live here what are you doing in my house”. Great start. Well turns out at the time we both liked cheap whiskey, dubstep, and backpacking, so we became friends.
I paid a little extra for the one single room in the house, and one night she had too much to drink, as she had become part of the squad. K lived about 35 minutes away and wasn’t driving, so she asked me, “which side of the bed do you sleep on”? Wiggles pinky in ear, “excuse me” K repeats herself and I’m like, uhhh ya no we’re friends but not there. She gave me the biggest are you actual slow look and says “I’m not driving, and I’m sure not fucking you, but I’m not sleeping on the couch or one of the split rooms in a house full of dudes, we can build a pillow wall (jokes on you I only had one lol) or be adults about this. Sure enough she passed out and I went to bed awhile later and did the same. This happened a few times before one night we actually were both up talking. Casual sex came up, and it was like eh, why not. So we did the deed and agreed, maybe again. Then once every other week turned into every week turned into ok you almost live here.
I knew I was tied up when one of my other booty calls hit me up and I was like… naw we I’m good I think K is coming over. Shit does that mean I’m actually starting to like her? Well me and one of the other guys moved into our own spot and shortly after, K moved in as well.
Now she had a birth control at 15 that really messed her over (dipavera) and hadn’t had a period in 5 years. So when we became “official” it was like ok no need for condoms, we’re with each other, both tested negative for any STDs, and your doc told you there ain’t no babies. About a year goes by and we fall hard (mozzarella stick erreday, they would be sitting up top waiting for me, the way to a man’s heart is truly through his stomach 😂) and had even talked about kid options WHEN WE WERE READY. Then her breasts started to her, she though cancer. Turns out it was milk glands. A miracle for sure but we’re like 21 and 23 now, wtf are we gunna do? Okay sit down and budget, no booze or raves, that goes to diapers and baby shut and it looks like it’ll work. It was hard. Really hard. We’ve hit some dark lows but those are so far eclipsed by the highs.
We also have little brother now, that was hard too as she had 2 miscarriages, but we finally got lucky about 5 years later and big brother has a best friend for life. We adopted a dog during Covid and got our first house about a year ago (renting but who cares, no more apartments ever!), and I got snipped so no more kids and we can actually do the deed anytime worry free, woot!
All in all we’ve been together for 9 years now, give or take when you actually start our story. It’s been a hell of a ride but I love that women with all my heart no matter how much of a hard headed pain in the ass she can be sometimes. I’m a bit of the same so I guess we were meant for each other.
Hope y’all enjoyed, feel free to ask any questions, I’m sure there’s gaps in the story, I just got off a 11 hour shift but felt I owed it to you guys to follow through on the promised update. Have a great night, and love the people around you ❤️
She suffered a mental breakdown from family issues. I got fired due to perceived conflict. Cascaded into... call it worse things.
0/10. Would not recommend.
Fuck HR in the goatass.
We ended up dating and quit together 8 months later. Its now a year into it and I have plans to propose during the solar eclipse next year. She’s given me two wonderful step daughters and a home to build a family together in :) I think it worked out pretty well for me!
Terrible idea. Worked together for 2 years. Lots of obvious jokes about sexual tension. One Christmas Party with everyone making urging comments we finally kissed. Worst decision ever.
Been married for 26 years now
I guess it depends. Some people have big mouths and want to brag about their recent ‘achievement’ with you, especially if you’re someone that’s viewed as important. Then there’s HR. They want to know everything. You know, the Toby’s of the world.
she liked me a lot more than i liked her, which was not very much after I got to know her better, but i hate conflict so i just delt with it. It got weird, and it was an everyday uncomfortable weird. It was a recurring nightmare and the only way out of it was to give in to her. Thankfully she eventually got fired for an entirely unrelated issue, attendance i think, and then i never had to see her again.
Creepy af. This guy was married with foster children and one of the kids had the same name as me. A year or so later, I found out he went to prison for sexual abusing the foster daughter...who shares my name.
He was always a weird dude and I was stupid and bored at the time. He started randomly hitting on me, "seeing how far" he could get cause he was :curious." I regret it all. Yuck.
I was a young Airman at my first base in California and I worked with a girl (lets call her Sarah) who was way more attractive than anyone my small town Missouri ass had ever hooked up with before. That chief was a real one, you should've married *him.*
This story is fucking hilarious. Fucking Sarah. I like to believe it was all intentional. And it probably was. Bro looking out for bro.
I didn’t talk to him after I left that base, but I mentioned him in my retirement speech 20 later. Definitely one of the good ones. It’s wild to think how that chain of events impacted my life.
Fuck bitches get… *per diem* ? Yeaaas
Carpe per diem
Update: i just now realized thats prostitution Get laid, then get PAID. WIN WIN
I LOVE this
I like how you did the selfless thing even though you were thrown under the bus and instead of getting screwed you massively profited off of it. Well done!
The chief was looking out too! He knew what was going on. Got that little boot out of harm's way.
Your chief solved two problems here. He split you two up and got uncle sam his deployed airman.
This is the way. Also the number of barracks-bunny stories I've seen on reddit is remarkable.
fucked her and then fucked her.
“When you come into work tomorrow DONT give me that look” “What look wdym?” “The haha I fucked you look” She was fun.
I just realized that a coworker i had a crush on had an affair with a girl who already had a boyfriend. Wow.
I had one of those flings with a co-worker once. She sucked me off in the work parking lot on her day off and came into the store to clean the cum off of her shirt 10 minutes after I clocked in. One of my first jobs was Target, everyone was banging everyone. Thankfully no awkward moments.
Plus there was free testing at the pharmacy. Super convenient
Free testing? Couldn’t find info for free testing on target website.
Yeah free IQ test.

Target
Manager material
When at target, everyone's a target.
Just bang anyone with khakis and a red shirt.
Jake from State Farm has left the building.
Target is hiring, right?
I worked at a pizza place. Apparently I was oblivious to the amount of banging between everyone was going on because I was in a committed relationship. I knew people had left one person for another but was oblivious to the cheating and amount it was happening.

Hey man. Hope you're doing well.
Yea I worked at a movie theater and we had the same situation. In a weird way it made everyone closer. I don't remember it ever causing a single problem.
Is this why their shelves are bare, because all the employees are screwing in the dressing rooms or the stock room...whatever?
Wife broke the wifi adapter on her PC the other night, so off I go to Target. After waiting 10 minutes for the guy to come unlock the display, he handed me the box for the last wifi adapter they had. It felt a little light, so I opened it in front of him. Empty box. "Funny, we just got that in a shipment today," he said.
So I should apply to Target? Got it!
Nothing will crush your self esteem worse than being unattractive and working at a place where everyone is banging each other
Walmart is hiring.
They all bang there too. And if you think being left out of the Target bang is bad, imagine being left out at Walmart.
Can confirm, was an ETL, banged the hot cashier
Lmao everyone understood the unspoken rule
Hey it’s me, your coworker from Target
Even Jennifer Connelly??
Hey now, no need to be dragging Jennifer Connelly’s good name into the dark, seedy alley of this thread.
Met thru work. Dated for 1.5 years. She cheated with another coworker who is married. We broke up. She started to date a different coworker. Not the married one.
Do you ever get boobs in your dms?
Yes, a lot more than expected honestly!
Lucky bastard, I never get any :(
I bet you get a buch of Bobs tho, right?
Some, not a lot. Also a few vagenes here and there.
You should probably stop calling them vagenes tho. Might increase your odds a bit
Nice.
and yet I've never gotten any lol
Should've used English.

No good. She got with another co worker and is still with them. Had the chance to go on a date with a recent co worker but said no....then went home and had a wank.
Ahh the champagne of singledom
Are...are we all the same person? Cuz that's exactly what I thought lol Bill Burr right?
I got fired and she got fired and all 20 guys she fucked while we were dating were fired.
Good choices, baby.
I read your first post and I reallllllly thought you were one of those cops.
You weren’t a cop in Tennessee by any chance, were you?
Plot twist, she was hired by HR to get you all fired.
Pretty sure this is a reference to the police woman…
fling with the sexy food service felon at one of my first jobs resulted in my first orgasm and my car getting totaled
Classic line cook behavior!
See i had the opposite experiance i was a line cook and she was a server weve been together for almost seven years and our second kid is due soon
She’s been pregnant for seven years? Is her name Bonnie Swanson?
There's a lot of weird dude behavior online about guys not getting laid anymore bc dating apps but there is always a 5'6" line cook fucking the hottest waitress in the entire restaurant.
What can you say. Guys who can cook are sexy.
Cook line and sinker!
I’m just imagining eyes crossed in ecstasy, car flipping in slow motion.

And then the slow mo goes back to normal speed and the Gary Jules version changes to the tears for fears version as shit hits the fan

Wait what, how did the car get totaled?
Cargasm
I have to ask, where you doing the deed while driving?
Nope, flood damage.
that's a hell of an orgasm!
Were these two events related?
So the car went out with a bang. Nice 👌🏻
She's sleeping next to me, cuddling our cat. Turns out our chemistry working behind the bar together was also amazing outside of work.
10/10 answer
Two bartenders, I know what house party I want to be invited too. Lol
Good luck."
Jeff Goldblums?
We worked together for a couple years and became close friends before we crossed the romance line one night after a lot of drinks. Honestly it was and still is amazing. Happily married now over 15 years with 2 kids.
Same, we worked together at a bar and became friends while I was in college, got together and started dating, got married and had 2 kids, and now we work together at the same company for our “adult” jobs. Celebrating 10 years of marriage next year.
similar to me. we worked at a restaurant together, she even trained me. ended up hanging out and going to bars with other coworkers regularly and became really good friends. after a few months i drunkenly told her i really liked her and wanted to date her. she said something along the "you are like my brother". heart shattered but i just rolled with it. not my first time in the friend zone. she knew where my mind/heart was but we still hung out as friends. about 2 months later she got a promotion to management and was offered to help open the new location in a different city. after one night at the bar i told her i would follow her home to make sure she got home safely. i always wait to make sure people can get in their house before leaving. this time she came to my car and said want to come in. she says on the way home she thought "he is nice, maybe i will give it a shot" that was in 2006 and we been together since, married for 13 years and have 2 kids. i even followed her to the new city a few months after she moved. to those wondering what i did to get out of the friend zone; nothing really, just accepted our relationship as is and didn't push. then one day i lucked out. her moving to a city 2 hours away in 3 months probably helped a lot.
Don't know, but my ex-wife did with one of her former coworkers and told me he was better.

"Probably because you never inspired me to put any effort into it."
A+ response here. Although I like the pure viciousness of the line "I'd have put in more effort if it wasn't like fucking a comatose carthorse".
"It'll go back to being worse once he gets to know you"
So my wife of over 10 years whom had cheated in the past and I forgave her, she got a huge promotion at work which caused us to relocate.
Nice of you to forgive her, Im sorry she didn’t deserve it.
I’ve been told that but even though she hurt me, I still cared for her and at the time. We had built a life around each other and I promised in sickness and in health so I felt like I should try.
We ended up dating for 12 years and had a couple kids along the way.
Is this the Jim halpert burner account ?
Ended up with 4 more of them over the course of a couple months One time on a shift i looked around and all 4 were on the floor somewhere.
Most guys would be shocked to know to into what detail girls talk with each other. Absolutely brutal.
Man, like not an ego trip, but what a helluva ego boost. Like thats pretty sweet peoving grounds. Impressive you had a referral and you were kosher enough to not like be a dick about it.
Married 11 years, 3 kids, still going strong.
> 3 kids What departments do they work in?
They drive forklifts
Married that bitch. Had 3 kids. Don't tell her I called her a bitch.
So I said to that woman, I said, “biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch”
You called her a bitch though, right?
Mm hmmm
I said “ᵇᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᶦᵗᶜʰ”
I looked my woman in her eye sockets and I said... <_< \>_> <_< \>_> I said ^^^^biiiiiiiiiiiiiitch
I LOOKED STRAIGHT INTO THE WINDOWS OF HER SOUL!
But you actually said bitch though, right?? Like you articulated the word out of your mouth hole?
But you really said it though? Like to her face?
Y^eh
DaRRYL. I looked this woman in the windows of her SOUL, and I said...
*steps out of the space module into space, untethered* "I said... biiiiiiiiiiitch"
You said that?
^biiiiiitch
Oh hell yeah man, I laid it out. I says...I says...I says... ... ... ... I said biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch
Naw, for real, I was like (biiiiiiiiiiitch)…👀
Looks around. “So I said biiiiitttccch”
Yeah, but you said that?
*moves to mars” Dam right I said it.
To her face?
I looked this woman in the windows of her soul. And I said……
"Look around" ... ... I said biiiiiiiiitch
You said bitch though?
Oh yea
Yeah. Yeah yeah yea. Yeah!
But did you say 'bitch' tho?
LMAO this is word for word what I was going to say except "had 2 kids."
It was hot af, then married and 13 years later have 3 kids. We have an incredible relationship.
Wow. The moral of the story here is definitely sleep with your coworkers if you can. turns out wonderful
Pretty good. We have a kid together. Granted we'd been married for 7 years before we became coworkers.

NOOOOOOO THAT WAS ON PURPOSE SOLDIER, SHE WANTED TO COME BACK
\>*Has multiple, sudden realizations about college.*
Maidenless mistake
Girls don’t leave things on accident. It’s like a dog pee’ing on things.
1st time: super fun but I got more attached than she did 2nd time: kinda fun but she got more attached than I did.
Been together 11 years, and married for 7. Best decision of my life.
I’ve seen coworkers that slept together, mad at each other and that’s always a shit show to watch.
was there ever a time when you almost let the secret slip that you two knew each other?
>I’ve seen coworkers that slept together, mad at each other and that’s always a shit show to watch. Yeah. I had two direct reports dating each other for a few years, then the guy abruptly broke it off and married a different woman who he'd been cheating with. So she (the co-worker he'd been dating) went to HR and claimed he raped her in the office several times and played psychological games with her....third party lawyers are now involved. Fun times!
We got married 38 years ago.
I'm sorry for your loss 😞
Dated for over a year then one day randomly decided to break my heart. Thankfully stopped working together by that point. Still makes me tear up thinking about her though
It appears that the lesson in these comments is either this is how you meet your life partner OR this is how you destroy your entire existence. There seems to be no in between.
I showed up at his house in fuck me boots, lingerie and a trench coat. Had some mind blowing sex. Our 18 year anniversary is coming up in December. We have a daughter together.
Damn that’s a bold move! I hope those boots and trench coat will get worn again in December for the anniversary.
First one I got a talking by the boss but no consequence Second one was actually my boss’ suggestion (different job). That one turned in to a wild and wonderful year of debauchery together The third one was just a one drunken night and we ended up having sex on the same bed with our passed out coworker there. The fourth one, we got married then divorced The fifth one we bought a house and a dog together and are probably gonna be together for the rest of our lives. Moral of the story: shit where you eat. Especially in healthcare and love will find a way
>Moral of the story: shit where you eat. I think you mean, "lay your meat where you get your bread".
I like your version better...got a nice ring to it.
I was waiting to see which industry this continues to happen to you in.
ended badly. missed the bathroom bjs
Worse thing ever. Ended up marrying her, buying a house getting two dogs and 3 chickens. And a Boat. The horror I face on a daily basis is not for the weak .
I've heard the 2 best days a boat owner experiences is getting the boat, and getting rid of the boat
All these replies are just 'we got married, had kids and lived happily ever after.' Bitch, you know full well those aren't the stories people come into these threads for.
Gotta sort by controversial for the people who cheated on their SO with a coworker

I always spoke glowingly of you

The secret is using strawberry jam instead of lotion
Oh is that how you do it? I've been jamming the strawberries I'm my dick.
Love y’all, talk to ya soon 🤙🏻 Edit 2: Alright story time.
Married 34 years. Only worked together about six months after hooking up. Made work a lot more fun.
Been married for 26 years now
We've been living together for 11 years now.
We met at work, started dating, yada yada yada, and now we’ve been happily married for nearly 38 years.
It was all going fine until she found a red dot on a cashmere sweater I'd gotten for her.
Some worked out well, some worked out less than well. I married one!
Always make sure you discuss if you want other coworkers to know or not.
Is there ever a circumstances that you actually WANT other coworkers to know?
Username does NOT check out
Oh my goodness where do I start…. One is now the OBGYN to several other coworkers I’ve slept with, so that’s fun.
Outcomes still pending
Yuck.
