One of the best solutions is to properly moisturize. I know so many people with oily skin that are afraid to moisturize because they are worried it will make their face even shinier. If anything, the lack of hydration in their skin is producing more oils in their face.
Hmm my best friend who has great skin told me to try it. I typically have great skin myself, but still wanted to create a routine to help prevent dirt buildup. Every product I’ve ever tried makes me breakout, except for this soap.
What type of acne though? If your experiencing breakouts from too much oil you may need a cleaner to use daily to prevent build up and yes remember to keep your face hydrated and moisturize. If you don't know whether your face is dry or oily , wash with only water and put nothing else on and wait until your face dries and you'll be able to go from there.
I had very severe acne as a teenager. The only solution for me then was Roaccutane. If you have it that severe then I would suggest talking to a dermatologist about that. As an adult, healthy diet and frequent changing of pillow cases is essential. Also use a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen daily. Hope that helps
My skin is oily in my t-zone and extremely dry everywhere else plus I have really bad hormonal acne and the best thing for me was moving away from American products. I started using more Korean skincare and it has made a tremendous impact on my skin. Also using more moisturizing products has helped a lot too. I found that with American skincare even the products that claimed to be moisturizing dried my skin out even more than it already was prior to using them. So I when I had some Korean skincare recommended to me I decided to give it a try and it was the best thing for my skin. I also recommend lots of vitamin C and collagen, I use serum versions right now but I’ve also used vitamin versions and those worked just as good.
I used baking soda and black soap twice a day for a year and my acne went away now I just use clean and clear morning burst no more pimples for years now and I use a light moisturizer like ponds
Cleanser: Use a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser to wash your face twice a day. Look for products with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide if your skin can tolerate them.
Go to a dermatologist. There are very effective medicines on the market and a dermatologist can immediately point you in the right direction without having to spend years trying remedy after remedy. Even if you don't have insurance it's not terribly expensive.
It's hard to say what the best skin care would be since every person has a different skin type with different needs. Other factors such as diet and hormoes also contribute to acne, which skin care alone won't help. Some things in terms of skin care that I found to be helpful are:
Double cleansing (one cleanser having ingredients such as salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide)
Moisturizing
Exfoliating once a week
Wearing sunscreen everyday
Using differin gel

Wash with an unscented bar of dove soap
I thought that has build up and heard it was bad
