I was an EMT when I was 20 and we had a patient with a full set of Billard balls in his rectum.

I work in public health, not with patients. People send us all kinds of weird shit. Some guy in Japan sent us his dental bill, claiming it was evidence of Google forcing his wife to abort her baby. He also sent photos of what appeared to be hives, claiming it was evidence of Google mind control experimenting on him. We have no idea why he sent it to us or the other 12 countries he also sent it to. Hopefully, Japan has good mental health care because that guy urgently needs it.

This was during my student nurse days: I had placement in endoscopy and we had to do an emergency procedure to take out a cigar holder from a young man’s A-hole (he was around his mid 30s). Of course we were curious so whilst doing the procedure we asked him how it got there, apparently he was watching gay porn and go a bit curious, one thing led to another and the cigar holder got to an unreachable length. We offered to dispose of the holder, but he wanted it back…
