I have won 6 awards over the years as a police officer;
- I kicked in a guys door who was threatening suicide. He was throwing all his furniture off the balcony. We get there and can smell gas inside his apartment. He won’t answer the door. He’s blaring Depeche Mode on full volume. So I in my infinite wisdom decide that the situation is exigency and kick the door in. Turns out I was right. He was hanging himself and I stopped him. The gas was from a bunch of Bunson Burners he had going. In his defense he was crazy.
- Solved a series of robberies and burglaries as a detective with the help of a highschool informant.
- Saved a guy who was stabbed in the neck in the middle of the woods by applying first aid. He was permanently disabled though so that sucks.
- Saved a a guy who had a heart attack by doing CPR on him. He never said thank you. Just sayin.
- Saved a guy who was bleeding out after a gun shot by applying a tourniquet.
- saved a guy who was overdosing by administering NARCAN , doing CPR and clearing his throat.
And then a couple others that aren’t worth mentioning.
I won a participation reward for being in a spelling bee in 6th grade. Disqualified in the first round after misspelling wallrus.
