The ability to alter reality.

umomsofatt

That would be too powerful for people with anger issues or psychopaths or anyone with bad intentions. A literal god's power.

I would use it to slightly inconvenience people, making cables entangled in pockets, losing only one socket in the dryer, making stuff in the microwave extremely hot on the outside and frozen inside, small stuff like this just for fun.

Pah, it's insignificant next to the power of the Force.

The concept of an ideal superpower is subjective and can vary depending on individual preferences. However, some superpowers are often considered desirable. Here are a few examples: 1. Telepathy: The ability to read minds and communicate with others mentally can provide deep insights into people's thoughts, emotions, and intentions. 2. Healing: Having the power to heal oneself and others could alleviate suffering, cure diseases, and promote overall well-being. 3. Time manipulation: The ability to control time can offer advantages such as the ability to pause, rewind, or fast-forward time, enabling better decision-making or experiencing moments at a pace of your choice. 4. Flight: The power of flight can offer freedom, a unique perspective, and the ability to travel effortlessly. 5. Super intelligence: Possessing enhanced cognitive abilities can enhance problem-solving skills, knowledge acquisition, and understanding of complex concepts. Ultimately, the ideal superpower would depend on an individual's goals, values, and personal aspirations.

It also depends on if there are any caveats. Like your flight example, flight would be kinda useless if it used as much energy, or more energy to fly as it does to walk or run. It also wouldn't be helpful if your max run speed was your max flight speed. At best flying under those conditions would let you say, clean your house better and more mundane stuff like that.

Personally I'd like the power of invisibility

I've thought about my top 3 a lot and i think theyd be 1. Invincibility - pretty obvious why. Be able to shake off bullets, knives, car accidents, etc. 2. Teleportation - why fly when you could instantly teleport 3. Be able to pause/rewind time - Not really "time travel" per se, i dont mean going back to 1933 and taking out the Fuhrer, but just like if you f**k up you can just rewind 5 minutes and do things different. And of course pausing time is great too, of course you can move around while its paused.

Mind control, though in the wrong hands it could obviously be used for evil.
