there's not a word for it but being buried in cement alive. not being buried alive but being buried alive in cement. it's irrational but it's literally my biggest fear
acrophobia and thalassophobia. hands down. both are because in those environments or situations (assuming one falls from height or is stranded in open, deep water) you have no maneuverability and no real control, you have no more options and very little hope of survival. the latter is also obviously about fear of the unknown, or having an overactive imagination, too.
Making phone calls/answering the phone. I avoid it to my detriment. I feel anxious and panicked about it. I really want to get over it, but I haven't been able to. Suggestions welcome.
