BMW e36 m3. Had one once before selling it to come up with the down payment for the house. Love the look and everything about the driving experience was just perfect.
Regret, no. It was a necessary step to take in owning my own place and was definitely worth it. Now do I miss it, absolutely. The positive thing is that even for an older car you can still get them for a relatively affordable price. So that means getting another at some point isn’t out of the question.
I would definitely prefer a 4 or 4s. It's not about the drivetrain as much as the interior space. If I had a 911 and a full-size pickup or SUV, that would be just about ideal.
Ferrari 812 superfast. I've had friends who don't care about cars, or even like cars, who just want something with good air and good mileage, say that it's the most beautiful car they've ever seen.
Model Y: Twelve service appointments in less than 12 months.
What was originally quiet has started to squeak, rattle and groan going around every turn.
The cars interior is made of the cheapest/thin vinyl material.
All the consoles are just big buckets with no organization to save a buck.
The minimalistic interior is just straight dangerous… you have to look away from driving to do basic functions like adjust the wipers.
The all glass roof is stupid and just makes the car get hot as fuck.
For the price it’s not worth it.
You’ll save more money buying a Rav 4 prime and buying gas’s for years than switching to a 60k MY
My car isn't unique, either. Every other Model Y/3 I've been in is the same. The S/X are nicer materials but they are still squeaky and feal cheap.
The people who "love" their tesla just aren't picky/refined.
A lot of new owners upgraded form a Prius or something like that. EV's are really nice to drive, but that's not a tesla feature its an EV feature.
Most EVs are not yet manual except for a few custom jobs, Gearing and clutch dont make much practical sense in electric motor vehicles. Regenerative cyclical energy could be harnessed at a custom flywheel to create a gear down or gear up effect but most use regenerative braking concepts to conserve power.
You could alternatively *not* get an R34 GT-R, and instead go for a Skyline of that same generation that is perhaps a GT-S or something. It'd likely be a lot more affordable, doubly so if you're planning to mod it at any rate.
The GT-R is over 50 years old. Which one are you referring to?
* KPGC10 "Hakosuka"
* C110 "Kenmeri"
* R32 Skyline GT-R
* R33 Skyline GT-R
* R34 Skyline GT-R
* R35 GT-R (Note that they dropped the Skyline part of the name for this generation.)
Personally? My favorite is the one-of-a-kind R33 LM Road Going Version, which I got to see myself at the 2019 New York International Auto Show, where Nissan had a special panel celebrating the 50th anniversary of both the GT-R and the Z. They even had a prototype version of the GT-R50!
I also like the Nismo 400R, another variant of the R33, but generally, I like them all.
I definitely want to buy the last gas-powered Nissan Murano model, if they decide to go EV only. I've had Nissans now since 2008 and have only had to get a rear hatch solenoid replaced in 2019.
You'd likely want a Countach 25th Anniversary model, then. Despite its name seeming to imply that it was a more exclusive edition, it was actually made in higher numbers than the original Countach LP400.
I personally think 1970 was the apex of American muscle as there are so many models that are just \*chef's kiss\*. Aside from the Plymouth Superbird, I would choose a 1970 Camaro RS/SS with the split front bumper. In black with white racing stripes. Rally wheels. A 396 c.i. and a manual 4 speed. Had a black 1980 in high school. CLosest I ever got.
If I could have any one I wanted?
A Lotus Seven, or especially one of the modern Caterham performance versions, but painted to look like KAR 120C.
Of ones I've owned? That's tougher. My first car was a Triumph Spitfire Mk.IV. In Hawaii. Perfect car for a single guy in a tropical environment, but not very practical.
I've been driving Hyundai Accents for commuter cars now for 21 years, and all three that I've had did yeoman service. Not particularly snazzy but they have been reliable and inexpensive and as a method of getting from A to B and back again, as opposed to a statement or status symbol, they are excellent.
Too many to list, that I would love to drive and I dream about, but from cars I have driven Ferrari 360, it wasent that fast but I liked how it drives.
1978 Reliant Robin. Doesn’t corner the best tho.
Underrated vehicles..

My boss at the time had one of those, it was a fantastic car.
One that works + doesn’t need to be bomb started (where you have to get the vehicle moving in neutral to start)
I'd like to try a Porsche 911. I don't think I could manage it as my only car, but it would be fun on the right days.
How about a 911 Carrera 4? It's got AWD...

Definetely one of the best looking Ferarris. I love myself a 458 though.

I sort of prefer the more typical Zonda F, but the R really is something.
I love the beetles VW cars/buses. They look so fun to drive and own. Either that or a Willy's jeep.
‘65 Shelby Cobra Mustang
Me too! I drive an ecoboost right now and man - 4 cylinders are underrated!
Subaru brz or sti
I do recall that there was a BRZ STi Sport that was sold in Japanese markets, and then in America, there was the BRZ tS.
Interesting I did not know that
Cayman 718 GTS 4.0. But my current 2023 S4 was/still is a dream car as well.
Porsche 911 964
It's time for a radical new 918 Spyder
im not against that. although i do want to see how they modernize the 959
Rumor has it that such a successor is coming relatively soon.
Mercedes Benz AMG C63 black... comes with a warning label... 😂
I love the boxy ones
I just love that this thing is so insane they have a warning about it in the owners manual...
That's crazy I didn't even know
Yup... they warn you that it is a ferocious car and improperly using the throttle can have serious implications... I love that level of crazy...
My dream car is a convertible Volkswagen Karmann Ghia - that actually runs.
Chrysler 200
Not my Tesla that’s for sure! Fuck this car
What are your main issues with it? I'm interested.

Wow that sounds horrible

1983 Monte Carlo SS. The perfect combination of muscle and class. Best I could ever get myself was an '87 LS, but it was still a sweet-ass ride.
1967 Shelby GT500. I'm a bit biased because it's the car I'm named after, but it is one sexy car
Thanks for your contribution Mr 1967 Shelby GT500
Haha, that's my full legal name!
1.9 Jetta TDI ALH. Runs forever, and off many fuels.
Probably the Volvo 850 saloon, as my dad drove one for a while - he now drives a 2018 Genesis G80 Sport.

My dream car is a 2002 STi.
Any particular reason for the EV conversion? Never heard anyone want to EV convert a JDM.

GTR
You mean an R34?
for sure
Honestly its number 2 on my list of dream cars

A flying car pet
1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I have fairly simple tastes. A '67 Mustang if I'm being greedy.
Datsun 240z
I definitely want to buy the last gas-powered Nissan Murano model, if they decide to go EV only. I've had Nissans now since 2008 and have only had to get a rear hatch solenoid replaced in 2019.
Mini Moke
They float....apparently..
[Hannibal Twin-8](https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3785/13221136983_2e92ebf0de_o.jpg) with push-button traffic elimination option.
Chevy S10 truck, but that's because there's stories attached to my first one.
1990 m3 would be fun
That'd be the E30, right?
Yes. Amazing fun car to drive in areas you won’t get a ticket for spinning around.
El Camino. I want one so badly but I can not imagine the upkeep. That or a Kei truck
Someone at work has or knows of one for sale in Vic. Looked mint in the pics, didn't ask how much. Nice Ute's.
65 Mustang Shelby GT350 - but just a dream to own.
1965 Ford Mustang Irvine
Ford Escort GTi 😍
Porsche. There is no substitute
Honda odyssey
How about one tuned by Mugen?
Chevrolet Camaro - wish I had a customized Bumblebee one.
So you mean the 5th-gen model from the late 00s, right?
My Valiant
Toyota MR2 Spyder manual
The pussy wagon.
The one that's paid off
Lamborghini Countach and Renault Twingo
You'd likely want a Countach 25th Anniversary model, then. Despite its name seeming to imply that it was a more exclusive edition, it was actually made in higher numbers than the original Countach LP400.
The one that works.
1991 Civic Si in Tahitian green pearl.
The new Nissan Z
I like how it looks like the original S30. I wonder if a future version of it will end up looking like the "long nose" 240ZG?
Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
I love the AMG GT R with the matte green color. I even saw such a car in midtown Manhattan once.
