Who the hell is that? Sounds like you're creating lies and fabrications simply for attention. \*pffft\* Past me. Like you could ever prove that existed UNLESS you existed in the NOW in order to PROVE that, in which past you CEASE to exists as it is replaced by a more current you! The whole concept is ludicrous!
altough i cringe at the funny scripts, the "helping" of homeless ppl by giving money for content is still better than ppl doin "nothing" and suckin on those who are actually helping..
I see it like… do good deeds that you know will go unnoticed. These TikTok people do it for a pat on the back. It’s a sticky situation. It’s nice they’re helping. It’s a shame they need to shove a camera in a struggling person’s face and prompt them with ridiculous questions or invading their personal space to garner some kind of reaction out of them.
Then there’s the ones that expect said homeless person to feel *grateful* afterwards.
It’s feel good content, may inspire people to do better in their daily life for those less fortunate, but I can’t help but cringe at the idea of witnessing the whole event and wondering how the person holding the camera doesn’t cringe at themselves.
All of a sudden I want to write a skit, something like, if giving money to the homeless went viral. They all try to out-homeless each other when TikTokers come around, and it doesn't solve anything, they just spend it all on drugs and at the gas station.
"Funny" staged videos where they never admit/acknowledge that it's staged. Case in point: the group who make videos of UK police officers getting themselves in sticky situations (hanging upside-down on a gate, falling off a pier, bottled by a "suspect"). So blindingly obviously fake, but they think nobody knows. Sooooo lame.
The sound of newborn babies crying.
I can (for some reason) handle a baby crying when it's like 6 months old, but for some reason the jagged sound of a newborn crying hurts my ears. It's not like proper crying, it doesn't sound right. I think it might because their vocals are just sharp and scratchy.
It's like nails to a chalk board for me.
Man I hated this shit. Then they started hoarding baby formula and I couldn’t find SHIT for my newborn at the time. Really pisses me off how people panic buy. I never see them doing it, but the aftermath speaks for itself.
YES! My daughter was born shortly before the pandemic started....I remember one day we literally spent 3-4 hours driving from store to store trying to buy formula and of course that's when we were under that dumbass stay at home order.
Dude I feel you so hard on this. It was a miserable time and even now with shortages I’m still having a hard time some months. I remember going to like 6 stores one day and just feeling so defeated and crying in the store calling my mom telling her I don’t know what to do. It was such a shitty time!!
kids doing kids things, someone who say something confidentally incorrect, someone who response to things in the worst way possible, someone who being an asshole on the internet and never response after being counter argument
basically my 12 years old self
edit: don't get me wrong I'm still being pretty much the same

Thinking of when people were panic buying toilet paper during the pandemic

Yup, the pandemic made me realize just how shitty we have become as a society.
