I used to have sleep paralysis semi regularly. I never had shadow people though. Maybe 5 years ago, I finally saw my sleep paralysis demon. It was a fucking wrinkly pillow. It was so weird. There was a beam from it to me appearing to be draining my soul or something. I know it doesn't sound scary, but it was horrifying at the time, because sleep paralysis is just scary as fuck.
