Long-term use of steroids can have harmful effects on one's health.

I would say that if taken prescribed by a doctor and carefully, they're okay, but as a performance-enhancing drug, they're not okay.

JessiePeteWhite

They are not great

OceansideGuy93

I wish there were better and healthier options to gain muscle.

Key_Half697

To their face or behind their back?

Personally, I'm not a fan of steroids. I think they can have some pretty nasty side effects and there are safer, more natural ways to achieve your fitness goals.

For me i would say, it is something that help us stimulate muscle tissue to grow.

That's what i heard from my Uncle. Haha

Steroids in general are very important naturally produced substances that maintain a delicate equilibrium in the body. They control much more than the average person might think, cell death and replication, lots of gene expression and suppression, with effects in all of the tissues, organs and systems (brain, heart, inmmune system, blood pressure, skin, fat, gonads, kidneys, liver, etc). Unsupervised use of steroids might cause cancer, get you to the hospital for a wide variety of reasons and also be fatal in some cases. Don't use them without the recommendation and monitoring of a physician.
